Kansas City area woodworkers were invited to exhibit tables to provide a special setting for the lidded vessels in the Put a Lid on It exhibition. We are pleased to introduce three members of the Kansas City Woodworker’s Guild whose exquisite craftsmanship is on view and available for purchase at the Belger Crane Yard Gallery:
Craig Arnold (left) is a lifelong resident of the Kansas City area who began woodworking at the age of eight alongside his grandfather. He's sold his furniture for over 40 years and has built and taught at the Kansas City Woodworkers' Guild for 15 years. His tables and wooden boxes are included in Put a Lid on It. Christopher Heichel (center) is a Missouri-based furniture designer and artist who studied Industrial Design at The University of Kansas School of Architecture and Design. There he honed traditional furniture-making methods with modern techniques using CAD and CNC machinery. Allen Lisko (right) is the owner of One of a Kind Wood Creations. His focus is on creating "unique wooden furniture and wooden decor items handcrafted from recycled and repurposed hardwoods." We invite you to the Belger Crane Yard Gallery to purchase and experience their work firsthand. If you aren't able to visit in person and you're interested in purchasing their handcrafted tables, please email gallery@belgerarts.org. |
