Materialize: Visualizing Climate Change

First Friday, February 7 opening night reception will be held from 6 to 8 pm, where artists will give remarks at 6:30 pm.


Materialize: Visualizing Climate Change brings together the work of six contemporary artists who explore multiple aspects of one of the world’s most challenging topics. 


The exhibition will be on view through May 3, 2025.

Caroline Landau
Thursday, February 6 at 6pm

Landau’s work is featured in the exhibition Materialize: Visualizing Climate Change, on view at the Belger Crane Yard Gallery from February 7 through May 3, 2025. Her glass work, Prometheus (pictured here), is an example of her process that involves creating blow molds and blowing glass into them to replicate specific structures and objects tied to ecology and nature.

Anne Yoncha
Saturday, February 8 at 2pm

Yoncha’s work is also featured in the exhibition Materialize: Visualizing Climate Change, on view at the Belger Crane Yard Gallery from February 7 through May 3, 2025. Her studio research combines experimental art and ecological science. Learn about her visual and sonic Peat Quilts, her creative practice, and more.

Love Begets Love: Valentine's Collection by Kim Brook
February 7 - 28, 2025

A reception will be held on First Friday, February 7, from 6 to 8 pm, where artist Kim Brook will give remarks at 6:30 pm.


Love Begets Love: Valentine's Collection features exquisite porcelain artworks by Kim Brook. To provide an early Valentine’s Day shopping window, Brook’s work is now available for purchase online.


Her work can also be purchased in person while Love Begets Love is on view at the Belger Crane Yard Gallery, February 7 through 28, 2025.

Stop by the Belger Glass Annex this First Friday to see our glass artists create a love-themed glass sculpture out of molten glass! Participants from the audience will be asked to assist with decorating the Valentine's Day-inspired artwork. Don't miss out!

Saturday, February 8 from 10 am to 4 pm

Shop for your valentine while you sip on sparkling rosé or cider at the Belger Crane Yard Gallery. We have an array of functional and decorative ceramics, glass, jewelry, and more by artists from across the U.S., including a Valentine's Collection by ceramic artist Kim Brook. Choose the perfect, handmade gifts for your valentine.


During this in-person shopping event, you can also purchase flowers (limited quantities available) and sweet treats from local pastry chef Nichole Taylor (pictured here).
