Red Star Gallery at Belger Crane Yard Studios

Red Star’s newest exhibition is a showcase of artworks by Belger Arts Center and Belger Crane Yard Studios staff. Functional and sculptural ceramics, paintings, and mixed media assemblages by Brock DeBoer, Tommy Frank, Shellie Kacillas, Catie Miller, Cydney Ross, Brandon Schnur, Jessica Thompson-Lee, and Cheryl Gail Toh are featured. The exhibition represents the merging of their creative talents within the daily operation of both Belger locations and as individual artists.
While visiting Belger Crane Yard Studios, don't forget to see Asheer Akram: Sacred Spaces currently on view through January 24, 2015. Belger Arts Center is also showing Word Play through January 3, 2015 and Expanding the Perimeter through February 7, 2015.

A solo exhibition of recent work by Sean Erwin, is a surrealistic look at the complexity of the human condition. Inspired by the effects of personal possessions on human behavior, Erwin composes sculptural narratives around concepts such as identity, sexuality, spirituality, beauty, and mortality.
