Belger Artist Panel Discussion

Sunday, December 8 - 11am-1pm

Youā€™re invited to a panel discussion with Belger Resident and Glass artists on Sunday, December 8, 11am-1pm, at Belger Crane Yard Studios. Learn about their studio practices, projects, and more.


This is a potluck event. If youā€™d like to participate, please bring a dish or beverage that you would like to share. Make sure to wear your favorite (Ugly) Holiday Sweater!

Glass Masterclass with

Jason McDonald

"I'll Make You a Punty You Can't Refuse"

APRIL 28 ā€“ MAY 2, 2025

Jason McDonald will lead a masterclass intensive where heā€™ll introduce the basics of 16th century Venetian style glassblowing from an American studio perspective. The class will have a ā€œskills and drillsā€ format covering basic to advanced steps of blowing thin, footed vessels. Class will include instructor demos and student practice time.


Limited Spots Available and Glass 2 or equivalent required.

  • A free artist talk on Wednesday, April 30, from 6 pm to 7 pm at the Belger Crane Yard Gallery (2011 Tracy Ave., KCMO)

  • A free glassblowing demonstration on First Friday, May 2, fromĀ 6 pm to 8pm at the Belger Glass Annex (1219 E. 19th St., KCMO)

Belger glassblowing teamā€™s cornucopia creation from a recent First Friday demo

Belger Artsā€™ three locations will be closed on Thursday, November 28, and Friday, November 29 for the Thanksgiving holiday.Ā Our regular hours will resume on Saturday, November 30.
