Subject: Why your body loves yoga in winter

Namaste Friend,

I hope you are well.

Winter can be a time when we draw back from regular activities, reflect or travel, which can be so rejuvenating.

Our yoga practice however is something to truly cultivate in this time. The colder weather can create stagnation in the body, which leaves us more susceptible to colds and flu if we don't actively continue to cleanse our physical and energetic pathways.

Some people also find the shorter days and cooler days have a negative effect on their mood and it can be harder to stick with things that actually uplift us at this time.

Again yoga is wonderful at sustaining an even temperament, instilling  a quiet joy and keeping us inspired with life.

Each yoga class I tune into the season, the weather, the energy and mood of the group and out flows a class that is in perfect alignment with what we all need to clear, uplift, calm, energise or heal in that moment together.

I always have a chuckle whenever someone comes up at the end of class and says......wow, that felt like it was just for me!

That's not me, that's the Divine for you!

I love that yoga has taught me this precious gift, to live in alignment with what I need in each moment and be present enough to allow Divine wisdom to flow through me.

I get to share that with you each week and that's precious.
Thankyou Friend,

See you on the mat,
With Love and Radiance,
Beks
