In December we see the release of the next volume of the Nine Demonic Gatekeepers, and this one particularly focuses on Beelzebub. I, in addition to other authors, will discuss various views and perspectives on him, and will share our own views, continuing the work started some time ago. Each one of us will give our “two cents,” and will give you more material to work with. But, what makes my piece interesting is that I will be discussing the macrocosm.
Those of you who are familiar with my writings know that I enjoy doing my research, and this essay is no exception. My contribution to this compendium is a piece about a classic topic, the connection between Lucifer and Beelzebub. What separates it from other similarly titled pieces though, is that I really don’t care about the philosophical and/or spiritual egregoric connections. Rather, I focus on the broad picture, namely that of the true, evidential, connection between these two beings.
You see, when we look at things objectively, we find that both beings belong to the same pantheon, that of the Canaanites. The Canaanite pantheon is something I have discussed before in other places, but seems to be a reoccurring theme on the Left Hand Path. For some reason unexplored by most practitioners, this pantheon is a staple of the current Left Hand Path, yet there are very few writings available on the subject, making it hard to get into any depth and detail regarding them. However, between this essay and Awakening Lucifer and other writings, I have done my best to show the influence of this pantheon, but even I fall short for I have not written a cohesive tome on the subject.
In this essay though, I do give more insight into said pantheon, particularly as it has to do with Beelzebub and Lucifer. Most people that I know view this relationship as a psychospiritual connection, citing references throughout history, but in my article I go into the archaeological connection between the two. There is a lot of information available regarding their connection from an evidential perspective, and it is this material that I focus on in this essay.
Quite bluntly, what I write in this essay is a continuation of what I have written about in Awakening Lucifer, the current compendium, and the Lucifer-Amaymon compendium. If you read all of these pieces together, you find a heavy emphasis on the Canaanite pantheon, especially the masculine side of the equation. I point this out here because it gives you context for this piece, as well as a glimpse at the overall scope of my work.
You see, many people that fancy themselves as authorities on the Left Hand Path have not looked at the Canaanite view. Why? Bluntly, I have no idea, but it is a disservice to the Left Hand Path, and the foundation upon which the Western Esoteric Tradition is built on. A hidden undercurrent, in addition to the tantric roots, of the Left Hand Path, is that of the Canaanite pantheon, so it is wise to study that in addition to everything else that is studied.
