In the preface I explain the purpose of this grimoire and introduce the reader to Mephisto, the leading spirit of the Faustian Tradition.The following chapters are dedicated to diverse aspects and manifestations of Mephisto as he appears in magic and literature, examining such works as e.g. Goethe’s Faust or Christopher Marlowe’s Doctor Faustus, as well as The Grand Grimoire and The Black Raven. And finally, there is a bibliography that will give you some ideas for your own study of the Faustian Tradition, and there is also a note about the author and the publisher. This is all accompanied by sigils and the portrait of Mephisto derived from my personal work as well as depictions of Mephistopheles as he is presented in myths and legends.

Each chapter shows a different aspect of Mephistopheles, and in each of them I explain in detail why he can be seen this way and what this means to a magician who would like to work with him in practice.The introduction to each mask of Mephistopheles is followed by a ritual, or more rituals, showing how he can be summoned in said manifestation and what you can expect from this work. This is accompanied by sigils that you can use in the rituals to empower your connection with the spirit and images you can place on your altar as decoration and gateway to his current. In other words, the whole grimoire explains in detail how to summon Mephistopheles in his various disguises and how to use his powers in practice for the sake of self-empowerment.
