This is Asenath Mason. I would like to say a few words about my article, “The Mirror of Lilith,” which is included in the Anthology of Sorcery 3. The article presents a formula of creating a special mirror to work with the goddess through dreams and astral magic. What Exactly Is The Mirror Of Lilith?
I first heard about such a mirror while reading books on medieval spells for magicians and sorcerers. The creation of the mirror was a part of the Munich Handbook of Necromancy from the fifteenth century. The object described in the book was designed to be used in divination and Lilith was called through a conjuration based on a Christian formula which included invoking the names of God. The idea of a mirror dedicated to Lilith and allowing for contact was absolutely fascinating for me, but I was not interested in using words of power from the Christian paradigm.

Lilith is one of my personal patron goddesses. I work with her almost on a daily basis and I’ve always had a natural connection with her energies. That’s why I decided to invoke the goddess and obtain the formula of her magical mirror directly from her. And this formula, which I developed through my own work, is described in the article included in the anthology.
In my article, I explain the manner of creating the mirror and provide the spell that can be used to charge and activate it. The idea itself refers to the Qabalistic legend of Lilith, Samael, and the dragon Tanin’iver. According to the legend, which is described in Treatise of the Left Emanation, Lilith and Samael were created together as one being and are forever joined in a continuous sexual act, receiving emanations from each other through an intermediary. This intermediary is a dragon called Tanin’iver, which corresponds to Leviathan - the Serpent of Chaos.
This union between Lilith, Samael and the dragon forms the Unholy Trinity of Sitra Ahra, the Other Side. It is also a gateway to Dark Tree through which you can travel to the realms of the Qliphoth or evoke the forces of these realms into your ritual space. The Mirror of Lilith is a physical representation of this gateway in the practitioner’s temple.
The formula presented in my article will be useful especially to those who are working with the Dark Tree, but also to all who work with Lilith through astral and dream magic. What you can see in the photo is the actual physical object that I have in my temple and have been using myself over the last year, with many interesting results, in my astral and dream work.

I also provide a method to activate it and connect it with the current of Lilith. And finally, you will also find a few words about how you can use it in your magical work, once it's active and ready.
We can say that the Mirror of Lilith is a gateway to the lunar garden of the goddess. This garden exists on the astral plane, and in the Qabalistic lore it is associated with the realm of Yesod/Gamaliel, where Lilith rules over dreams, fantasies, desires, and all things connected with imagination and creativity. The mirror can also function as a link between your physical temple and the dream environment, and you can use it in your lucid dreaming work, for scrying, or even for astral travel.
