Pioneering A New Era Of Demonic Astrology

The two systems have been intertwined for a great number of years now publicly and the roots of that intertwinedness go back centuries before that. So it only makes sense that there would be a book released talking about the two subjects in unison. But up until now that has not really happened. Kenneth Grant in the Nightside of Eden goes into great depth and detail about it, but that is only one piece of the whole book. With this book, it's completely dedicated to the astrology of the Qliphoth. Let's talk about what we're going to see from a Qliphothic perspective.

For those of you that saw the first video, you know that it's going to include a primer of astrology, and you know that it is going to cover a lot of astrological discussions and basis for where we're at now. In this presentation, we're going to talk more about the Qliphoth. Now you can see the Qliphothic Tree there on the screen in front of you. It's the basically standard tree that most Left Hand Path magicians are familiar with. That's going to be our launching pad for where we go in the book. The first thing we're going to cover is the Qliphoth itself. Now, we're going to talk about the 10 Qlipha of the dark tree. We're going to talk about the planets that correspond to each individual one. We're going to talk about competing theories because there are some discrepancies in that tree. And we're going to talk about the beings that inhabit each one of those particular spheres.

Then we're going to talk about the Scales of the Serpent. Some of you might not recognize this term, but it is actually the older of the two terms. I'm sure many of you are familiar with the term, the Tunnels of Set. That phrase was coined by Kenneth Grant in his Typhonian Trilogies. He drew upon, among other resources, the writings of Aleister Crowley, Liber 231, and in that particular Liber Crowley calls the tunnels the Scales of the Serpent rather than the Tunnels of Set. So that is Mr. Grant's own spin on the Crowley material. But personally, I think they both work just as well. Not only are we going to talk about the Qliphoth, the nexus points, we're going to talk about the paths in between, the Scales of the Serpent also known as the Tunnels of Set.

Now, each one of these 32 points has some sort of astrological correspondence that goes with it. While you can find the basic mentions in a lot of modern books, nobody goes into great depth and detail about why that is the way it is and what you can do with it. It is that grievous error that this book sets forth to correct. By the end of the book, you'll have a firm understanding on the Qliphoth, the tunnels, the astrological correspondences, why those astrological correspondences are there, and what you can do with this information to increase your own spiritual path and success in magick.

In addition to those two points, we're going to talk about the Qliphothic Orders. Now, I'm sure a lot of you are familiar with this at least in passing through the writings of Mr. Grant once again. But in this material, we are going to go into greater depths than, to my knowledge, most people have gone. One of the things that Asenath Mason and myself engaged in when we were working with this book is working with the beings of these orders. One of the reasons for that is because there's very little written about experiential circumstances and results from any magicians working with them. Basically we wanted to get to know them, so we put together rituals, knocked on their doors individually, and said, "Hey, let's get to know you." The results of those rituals are contained in Qliphothic Astrology.

Now, oftentimes we get the names of those particular orders and we get the meanings of those particular orders, but that's about it. In the material in this book, we are going to go so far as having a ritual template format that you can use for your own contact. We're also going to have our results in there so that you can use them as a bar of comparison in addition to the titles of those orders as you advance on the Left Hand Path. We're also going to talk about Hidden Labyrinths. Now, I'm sure that sounds, "Ooh, mysterious." Quite honestly, it's meant to be. The reason for that is I can't give you everything right here. But I can tell you that there are some hidden facets of the Qliphothic Tree that are revealed through astrology that are not revealed through other means.

It is those hidden pathways that we are going to look at. We're also going to do a few other things that are not suspected of being able to been done with regards to the tree. I'm only going to leave you with that teaser for now because I'm not going to cast my pearls before swine. But I do want you to know that there are going to be some subtleties and some nuances regarding the astrology of the Qliphothic Tree that are contained in the book, that you won't see anywhere else.

What exactly are we talking about here as far as a little more in-depth goes? Well, what we're talking about is the fact that when you get done with this material you'll have a firm understanding of how to use astrology with your Left Hand Path practices. This does not mean you're going to be a professional astrologer, but rather, contained within the covers of this book is a complete primer on astrology and how it fits with the Qliphoth. So basically if something catches your eye in the latter sections of the book, you're going to have the first section of the book to call on for explanation and in that first section is not only the history of astrology, but also a primer on basic astrology that is necessary in order to understand the more complex material later on.

No matter your astrological sign, there is something of value in here. One of the biggest points of value contained within these boundaries is the fact that you will be able to say, "Hey, my astrological sign is this. This is my dominant Qliphoth." So even if you don't take as much away from the book as in there, you will still be able to say, "These are parts of who I am and who I am developing during this lifetime." As you work through the book, you will see that the final section has something that I'm not going to talk about here, but I will talk about in a future newsletter, and that is a system for deep exploration and particular gnosis. The two pieces of art that you've seen here on the screen during this brief advertisement are pictures that Asenath Mason has done for the book. They are contained within there as well.
