Hello Friend,

If you're invested in the occult, I'm sure you have already heard of the Goddess Hecate.

She is one of the most intriguing figures you will encounter when delving into esoteric literature. In my book Draugadróttinn: Lord of the Undead, I propose you discover one of her most powerful techniques: vampiric sorcery and dreamworking.

The Thracian Goddess of the Dead and Chthonic forces, Hecate, is also a deity of vampirism, sleep paralysis, and nightmares. The Greeks attribute her witchcraft and clairvoyant abilities to her link with the lunar celestial body. In mythology, Hecate is perceived as the founding mother of certain lines of witches, among whom we find Medea or Circe. She is the magician par excellence and the mistress in sorcery to whom all magicians appealed in Ancient Greece.

Performing Sorcery At The Crossroads

She is also perceived as being very close to Hades, the supreme God of Hell in the Greek pantheon. The cult of Hecate is especially active at the Crossroads, which is perceived by the Greeks as the gateway between our world and the Underworld. Hecate was closely associated with plants and the concoction of medicines and poisons, especially aconite, mandrake, and belladonna. There can be multiple meanings to the Crossroads. It is possible that in a purely religious sense, worship has been given to the Goddess on the crossing of the two roads.

However, this designation can also be used to denote dawn or dusk, when day and night meet. As demonstrated by E.A. Koetting, the Crossroads symbolizes, above all, a state of mind between the normal waking state and the state of trance. It is in this state of lucidity within one's own trance that the sorcerer is able to perceive the astral forms around them and that magickal operation becomes possible. With Hecate being the Goddess of Witchcraft, it is logical that she resides at a Crossroads.

For the novice practitioner having difficulty reaching this state, or leaving their physical body, Hecate can be of great help. Hecate is very sensitive to sacrifice. During ancient times, female cats, black dogs, and sheep were sacrificed to honor her. Her favorite tree is said to be the black poplar. Using poplar incense during your invocation of Hecate is a good idea to solidify her presence in the ritual. Yew, cypress, and garlic are also quite appreciated by the Goddess.

How The Dark Queen Hecate Presents Herself

In classical lore, Hecate has several appearances. She may choose to show herself as a three-headed creature, with a woman’s body with three heads, one being a lion, the second a dog, and the third a mare. She is also sometimes represented as three women holding hands. She is represented holding torches, vases, and cups for libations, as well as sometimes fruit, especially apples. Her head is generally surmounted by a high round tiara. She sometimes has keys, daggers, swords, and snakes. In my personal experience with this Goddess, she first appears in the form of an animal, sometimes a bat, before taking the form of a woman with dark hair.

The Forbidden Power Of The Lunar Nightside

The presence of Hecate is particularly dense during rituals conducted at dusk. Hecate is excellent for assisting in astral travel work. Regular work with her can be a good idea to facilitate the process of separation between the astral body and the physical body. Hecate will refine the astral body of the evocator, favoring the loss of proprioception and the awareness of the physical body, thus favoring projection. She can also be called for operations of scrying. She will assist the sorcerer by responding to answers about the future and teach methods of divination. For people interested in plants, Hecate can be a great teacher, giving advice for mixing and dosage.

In my grimoire of Magick Vampirism, Draugadróttinn: Lord of the Undead, I have written about a special ritual to evoke Hecate and give an immense boost to your abilities to travel out of your body and visit the realms of Night.

You will also discover the dark face of pretty famous deities of different European pantheons, such as Wotan, Lug, Volkhv, Zalmoxis, and even Noctulius.

The first print of this grimoire had fully sold out in April this year. Due to overwhelming demand, we printed a second batch. You can place your order right now for Draugadróttinn in hardback leather and cloth in strictly limited edition. Be sure to get your own copy before it runs out of stock once again.

Asenath Mason says, "I have found it absolutely fascinating and I strongly recommend it to everyone…"

Vampirism occupies a special position among other areas of Magic, continuously attracting new practitioners and drawing strong interest both from those who want to use it in their work and those who find it confusing due to its moral and ethical ambivalence.

With limited information that is available on the subject, DRAUGADRÓTTINN will definitely meet with both as it has a potential of being the manual of Vampiric Magick – the book everyone interested in the subject needs in their library, no matter if you’re a beginner or an advanced Adept of the Shadow Path. The book explores basic as well as complex methods of Vampiric Magick, provides an insightful glimpse into the history of vampirism, and presents spells, rituals and energy work techniques that will introduce you in an exciting and comprehensible way into this dark tradition. Most importantly, however, it shows methods that are easily applicable and can be successfully used by a modern practitioner.

I have found it absolutely fascinating and I strongly recommend it to everyone who wants to find out more about Vampirism as a Path of Self-Empowerment.

Michael W. Ford says, "An excellent example of enhancing and expanding the Cultus of Vampyre Magick..."

Draugadróttinn is an excellent example of enhancing and expanding the cultus of Vampyre Magick. The advancement of the serious Adept is found in the dark tunnels often unseen by the masses; Vampyre Magick is a spiritual and physical initiatory practice which calls to the Black Adept, experience expands the abyssic potential…

Conner Kendall says, "I fully recommend… this tome is needed in your Vampiric arsenal…"

This singular tome brings an interesting and refreshing new approach to the Black Magick of Vampirism. I personally have worked through Vampirism myself and to see such innovation was pleasing to say the very least. Potent, easy to follow, and clear-guided instructions plus descriptions on the various unique aspects of this Vampiric Current.

This is a guide book for those who are genuinely interested in their Vampiric endeavours. This more than proves that Vampirism is a great tool, a weapon and a path of spiritual predation, rather than a parasitic method of energy consumption.

For all the following, I fully recommend to those interested in this particular form of spirituality, that this tome is needed in your Vampiric arsenal.

Angel Burton says, "I found it terrifying, but in all the right ways..."

I am not new to magick or the Left-Hand Path while on my journey of magickal knowledge I found myself being pulled to better understand the vampiric arts. I wanted to obtain a knowledge of the real magick not what we see in pop culture and movies. Having the chance as a beginner in this path to read this grimoire I didn’t turn it down. I found the succession of the chapters of this book easy to follow and understand as I prepare for this path. There was a lot of care taken to explain the history behind the different rituals and deities have spoken about. I found the rituals very easy to follow. Some parts I found terrifying but in all the right ways. I couldn’t fathom all of the ways a human could use vampiric skills.

I highly recommend this grimoire to anyone wanted to seek more knowledge or even just starting on the vampiric path.

Angel Burton, lifelong Black Witch
