Hey Friend,

I’m going to be straight with you: I’ve summoned more spirits than I can count. When I started working with the Loa about 8 years ago, I got to meet an entirely new set of spirits, and I ended up forming very close alliances and even friendships with them.

I Summoned The Courage To Face This One Particular Loa...

But there was one Loa in particular that I avoided. Ogoun. The Loa of raw, masculine power. The Vodoun spirit of warfare, leadership, and aggression.

I avoided him because he intimidated me, in the same way that I avoid steroid-raging psychopaths.

In creating the Haitian Vodoun Pathworking Course, I thought that maybe I could just do a “light” invocation of Ogoun, and then move on to the next one.

That isn’t what happened at all..

Before the ritual even began, Ogoun told me to put my rum aside and to replace it with a bottle of whiskey, which is his preferred beverage. As my hand grabbed the bottle of whiskey, another hand reached through mine and grabbed the bottle, too. My hand became Ogoun’s hand, and he instantly consecrated the whiskey inside the bottle with his touch.

I had hired a drummer to beat on my consecrated Djembe drum while I drew out Ogoun’s veve, and the pounding of her hands on the goatskin drum drove Ogoun deeper into me, into my core, into my heart and my brain, until there I was no longer there, but I had become nothing more than a meat-vessel for Ogoun.

He took his Machete and drew symbols that I had never seen before on the blade. With my hands under his control, he dipped my fingers into a bowl of goat’s blood, the animal having been sacrificed to him on the previous night. He smeared the blood across the blade, and for several minutes he stared at the machete through my eyes.

He then plunged a wad of gauze into the blood and rang it out, the goat’s blood running from my fingers, and then poured half of the bottle of whiskey on top of the wadded up, blood covered gauze.

After wrapping the whiskey and blood soaked gauze around the machete, he held it over a burning red candle, the whole thing catching on fire.

The little bit of me that was left in my body screamed at him to stop, afraid that he would burn me, terrified that the flames would incinerate my Temple and everything in it.

I Couldn’t Stop Ogoun From Nearly Burning My Temple To The Ground!

But I couldn’t stop him as he swung the burning machete in the air, pieces of burning, bloody gauze flinging around the Temple, embers of it burning my skin. And I could do nothing, because I was no longer me, but was merely a meat-puppet for this god of war.

The drummer became possessed as well, her rhythms popping and slamming, sounding less like music and more like battle.

Ogoun slammed the machete on the ground once, and I could feel his spirit slam in my chest. He smashed it on the ground a second time, and I could feel his power smashing my mind. He crashed the ground with the machete a final time, and the fire was extinguished… and so was any resistance that I had used to keep him apart from me.

And now, Ogoun lives within me, always, along with many spirits. I am Legion, and Ogoun is the Commander of the armies within.

This is only one of the terrifying rituals of Haitian Vodoun that I have filmed for the Haitian Vodoun Pathworking Course. If you dare to look into the eyes of Ogoun, you can watch the live ritual video right here.

Discover The Fiercly Guarded Rites Of Initiation Into Vodoun Magick On December 19th...

Do you dare to enter the Magick Current of Voodoo?

It is extremely difficult to penetrate the tribal religion unless you were born in Haiti natively, because they hate for people of an outside ethnicity to rise through their ranks. They literally believe their African-rooted blood possesses special supernatural attributes, and that Hispanics, Asians, Whites and others cannot become as powerful as them.

Pity for them though, because a rebellious Houngan counseled me to Find Legba on my own, and I underwent a very long series of organic initiations with the Loa in the desert by mself—experiences which Haitian priests confirmed as authentic from Haiti.

In fact, the same priests insisted for me to pen a Western-style grimoire of my possession experiences and spellworkings into a grimoire called The Spider & The Green Butterfly. Originally, they limited the print to only 500 copies. Not only that, but they inserted blinds and traps into it so as to deceive the reader. Eight years have passed since we released that in First Edition, and it has become time now for me to break those old oaths of secrecy. I have updated, corrected, and expanded The Spider in a Second Edition. You may sign up right now for pre-order, which opens on December 19th

The reprint of this grimoire has deep sentimental meaning for me, and I would like to acknowledge your constant support of my mission and Magick Ascent in general. I personally invite you to join me at midnight on Monday for this milestone event.
