By remembering one’s true and undeniable desires, and having further identified therewith, one proceeds to vitalizing their personal iconography, which naturally reflects a higher, abstract principle of absolute mathematic, scientific—and magical—precision! In other words, the Body of the God/Goddess is the supreme spell, the primal code, and the ultimate Form life shall assume when earth is perfected by the return of pure spirit—the triumph of Hyperborean Majesty!

In A Star Called Winter, the Nameless One is revealed by a universal code whereby it may be channeled and directed by the Adept towards the manifestation of inspired forms. This is essentially an “aeon” in itself, however it is not tied to any historical paradigm like Crowley’s Aeon of Horus. Instead, the N(A)ION is a magical formula whose vibration contains the secrets to a complete understanding of this formless energy, which can only be known in and by its particular forms (gods, goddesses, spirits, men and women, objects, metals, plants, etc.).

By using N(A)ION as a mantra, the Adept may sound the depths of this primordial current, and empower all their magical workings with the deepest layer of “un/consciousness”. Truly, it is the Anti-Gravity sought by the Vril Society, and it is also Vril energy itself—these being “stances” energy can assume when directed by conscious, disciplined, and inspired individuals.

Also featured in this book is a practical method of directing the characters and “themes” of one’s life with the help of one’s daimonic instinct. This is a “device” resembling a chessboard whose movements of pawns, squares, and symbols permit the magician to chart the path of their own Relocation, and be a co-creator with their guiding spirits and warrior angels.

All aspects of life must be given “true voicing”, even the most apparently-mundane! For this reason, the reader is shown examples of how to integrate financial, professional, and political success in subtle ways—how to “evolve” the brain beyond linear academic learning through the sublime combination of knowledge and art in the form of magical links spawned from suggestive correlation. This example involves Wagner’s Der Ring des Nibelungen, with Rhinedaughters, Valkyries, and Heroes attributed to Alchemy, German grammar, and spellcasting.

This and much more are neatly-woven into a tapestry whose honest insight transcends linguistic, anthropological and historical fact in favor of what shall triumph in the twilight of homo sapiens logic.

The wealth of information and practical instruction contained in these volumes may overwhelm the reader, unless he maintains a firm grasp on Goddess’ counsel regarding the extraction and refinement of threads in the tapestry of personal myth:

The various threads allude to the strands of gnosis catalogued in Vovin, where no attempt was made to reconcile or restructure them in any organized manner. As a result, the first book acts like a journal of magical workings, many chapters taken directly from my Temple reports during our annual projects from Autumn 2017 – Winter 2019. While a semblance of structure is hinted at certain chapters grouped according to common themes, like Vampirism or Sex Magick, many are to be adopted or discarded in accord with the reader’s specific needs, demands, and desires. Every Draconian initiate honors different spirits, and is summoned to fulfill different functions in cosmic patterns. Likewise Vovin gives various strands for everyone to grasp in any particular manner. These are naturally refined through the practice of the three sex-magic degrees whose formulae occupy the whole of the second book: The Eleventh Degree.

In fact, it is in the second book that the reader will recognize a structured, graded system by which he may compare, contrast, and construct his results according to the inner instinct of his higher self (daimon), who must always surrender to the embrace of the immortal beloved (god or goddess). Together, this consecrated couple produce new worlds through the formulae of Ninth and Eleventh degrees, now refined from crude Crowleyan standards, and enhanced with the Typhonian mutations of Grant’s own Typhonian Trilogies.

Actually, it was during the writing of The Eleventh Degree that the idea for a Trilogy emerged, and proved itself fitting as an homage to a disincarnated master (in other words, my intention was to stress the importance of reading Kenneth Grant in order to truly understand the aesthetic spanning these current publications!—one should never rely on a single author for any insight, nor should one attempt anything unless given approval by their personal deity).

As always, Goddess has the finest words to say regarding A Star Called Winter, whose tapestry is much more varied than its LHP predecessors, singing with a clearer voice in a leitmotif capable of spanning several movements in an endless symphony:
