As I’ve been thinking about this and considering how to share this with you, I’ve been thinking a lot about my experiences filming and putting together all of these video courses over the years. It’s been a crazy experience, because before Timothy and I started doing this, nobody was filming ritual. Nobody was filming themselves in states of ecstasy or spirit communication, and nobody was giving instructional tutorials on how to do these things. Before we started releasing videos, you really had to patch it all together yourself, mainly from what you could find in books and piece together through practicing magick yourself. I was able to take the things I had learned and just film myself, as if I was having a direct conversation with you, performing the rituals and meditations with you.

With each of my courses, I’ve tried to create a personal connection to the degree that we feel like we’re in the same room during the course. You’re not just learning how to do these things though these courses. You’re not just watching the rituals and learning the meditations. You’re actually having the experience alongside me in a very real, substantial way.

In thinking back on all this material, I’ve been thinking about what my favorite video course has been to create. To be honest with you, a lot of them were not very enjoyable to make. It was enjoyable to do the work, but there was a lot of sacrifice on the back end. There’s been so much change that has come about in myself through these workings that, when I look back on most of them, in addition to the growth and magick I experienced, I can also see the pain. I can also see all the different ways that I’ve improved since then, so some of them are a little difficult for me to look back on with any objectivity. But subjectively, I had a lot of fun making each one of them. I pushed myself harder than anybody else I’ve ever known, and that definitely comes through in each and every one of these courses.

To narrow it down to my favorite course, I feel that it would be a three-way tie between Mastering Black Magick, Norse Viking Magick, and Haitian Voudon. These two were immensely fun to create. Perhaps one of the reasons for this is that I was able to do so much on-location filming. Rather than confining myself to the local desert or my temple, I went out into the mountains, the rivers, the forests, and places that were immensely alive with energy.

With the Mastering Black Magick course specifically, I truly enjoyed not just teaching a general black magick pathworking, but getting to do things along with you, such as creating amulets and talismans, making mojo bags, and casting spells with candle magick. Working with the Loa in the Voudon course was really heavy and dark, but in an enjoyable way. It was mainly filmed in the desert, and it was dirty, hot, and heavy. After that, I needed something to refresh myself, which is exactly what I found in the Viking magick course. It rebuilt and refreshed me in a spectacular way. For each of the worlds in the Viking system, I would go to its corresponding environment so that the overlay between the worlds would be secure and sync up, and it most certainly did.
