Hello Friend,

Colombian sorcerer and sinister shaman, Edgar Kerval, here. I would like to introduce you to my new double-grimoire with E.A. Koetting called Herbarium Diabolicum. You can place an order for this limited edition grimoire in leather & cloth hardback, Tuesday, July 14.

This illicit book is a vast exposition of the different magikal plants, as well as their potions, tinctures and other uses within the practices of the left hand path, shamanic and experimental witchcraft. Psychotropic plants have often been incorporated into religious practices.

Entheogen means "creating a god within" or "becoming divine within" or "becoming godlike." It derives from Latin, en "in", theo "god", and gen "create". The word enthusiasm derives from this etymology also, "to become filled with god" and "to become possessed by god."

Ancient cultures used sacred plants as a part of their religious heritage. The anthropologists make reference to this consciousness of altering the botany like "entheogens" (creating a god inside). Black magicians use various sacred plants in their mystic practices and rituals to access the invisible world, which is composed of archetypes, structures, laws and sacred dynamics, establishing communication between visible and invisible planes. Through a complementary dynamic between these opposites, they can be guided by various entities to enter their and awaken various supernatural powers and forces to their true purpose and will.

The magical shamanic practices of the black magician include: ceremonies of sacred plants for destruction and curse, purges of tobacco, herbal potions, oracular and divinatory works with plants, works of vision and animism, rites of initiation and ceremonies (lunar, curse, death, etc.)

The knowledge of the properties of numerous psychotropic plants and their use in many millennial cases by the magical movement in ritual contexts must be understood within a larger context that includes the work and domination of sacred plants considered magical since antiquity, and sophisticated techniques of ritual management and an animistic cosmology in which the beings of other planes share their knowledge with people, under the use of various sacred plants, which can appear in different ways (transformation). Its use implies the acquisition of modified states of consciousness that affect cosmologies and epistemologies within a purely magical context, as well as in the folkloric and narrative manifestations of numerous cultures through millennia.

Despite its persecution for religious reasons the use of some of these plants has persisted to this day, being adopted in religious and therapeutic contexts sometimes added to processes of magical consciousness and the revaluation of philosophical-epistemological paradigms.

Pioneer black magician, E.A. Koetting, explains his grimoire and course below...

After reading through Edgar Kerval's Herbarium Diabolicum, I finally understood the purpose behind my own experimentations with illicit substances, not as mundane sedatives nor as recreational escape from reality, but as doorways into magickal worlds, many of which have been in use as reliable magickal tools descended from prehistoric sorcery. Herbarium Diabolicum opened the door for me to finally recognize the magickal value of some of my most difficult struggles, and allowed me to at last come clean about the role that illicit substances have played in my Ascent.

My candid confessions and detailed instructions form Book 2 of Herbarium Diabolicum, called "The Poison Path," opens your being to multiple realities through 13 illicit or psychoactive substances, each substance a doorway into these parallel universes. Indulging in, or sometimes even just being in the presence of, these substances activates a doorway to very specific and otherwise unnoticed aspects of reality, granting us access to hidden realms and secret dimensions. These two grimoires combined form the world's most comprehensive guide to the darkest and most dangerous methods of sinister shamanism.
