In working with Lucifer-Amaymon for the past few months, one of his greatest teaching tools is inspiring me to review the methods that I have proven effective in my own rituals and to dissect the process from start to finish.
I took a close look at my entire magickal process, specifically focusing on the question of spirit communication, and found out that I have been taking some serious magickal gems for granted along!

Spirits Will Start Communicating With You Long Before You Call Them |

Most people expect their communication with the spirit to begin once they have performed the ritual of evocation and the spirit stands before them in the incense smoke. At that point, they can then ask the spirit questions and it will answer.
The truth of the matter is that spirits of a high order will start communicating with you long before you evoke them… often before you are even aware that you are going to evoke them!

As you make plans for the evocation and as you seek out information about the spirit, as you prepare yourself, the entity will guide you through flashes of inspiration or insight, through words that come into your mind seemingly from nowhere, and from silent moments of awareness of the truth of a thing.
All of these things will lead you into deeper levels of knowledge about the spirit, and with an entity like Lucifer-Amaymon, who is the Hidden God, it is important to recognize the hidden forms of communication that will be used.
Lucifer-Amaymon became my constant companion as I worked with him, coming in the rituals to answer every question I put to him, but he also remained with me outside of the ritual, speaking silently to me, injecting my mind with his truth and his teachings.

When Working With The Hidden God, Things That Are Normally Unseen Become Obvious |

During the formal rituals in which I contacted and communicated with Amaymon, it was clear that he was not necessarily speaking to me, but that he was sending me packets of knowledge in the form of symbols and orbs of light that I would receive, absorb, and then my conscious mind had to unpack to make sense of any of it.
Sometimes I had difficulty aligning the raw information Amaymon would send me with my current vocabulary, and the task to translate it and make conscious sense of it at times was considerably difficult.
I actually find myself laughing a bit remembering how Lucifer-Amaymon would begin to answer a question verbally, but as his answer progressed he would stop speaking altogether, simply sending my mind the understanding of what I needed to know.
Interestingly, when working with The Hidden God, the things that are normally unseen become obvious.. The darkness gives birth to the light as we become aware of it!
Every entity of true power communicates on at least 2 frequencies: that which is spoken, and that which is conveyed internally. So, while a spirit is speaking to you from the Triangle of Manifestation, also pay attention to what you are receiving in that moment that is hidden and usually is not formed by words or images yet. These will be feelings, sensitivities, or simple “Knowings” of the inner nature of a thing.

Lastly, Lucifer-Amaymon will communicate with you through the world around you. Circumstances will align to either validate a teaching that he has communicated with you, or opportunities will arise for you to test that teaching and put it to use in the “real world.”
This strange reflection of the inner self in the outer world will eventually become commonplace to you, and you may find that you recognize Lucifer in everything around you, and within your own self, and that you stop noticing any difference between his voice and yours.
That’s when the real teachings can begin!
