Hello Friend,
When I first started forming my concepts for what has become these Gatekeeper Pathworkings, what I had initially envisioned and what it has actually become are quite different!
|

I imagined that I might take two or three years, working with every Gatekeeper in turn, compiling my notes as I went, filming all my rituals. Rather than releasing every text and course as I went, I planned to haord them all until I was finished, years later finally releasing a grimoire of the Nine Demonic Gatekeepers.
Such a grimoire would have possessed an absurdly long page count, and by the time I would finish the final chapter, the first chapter would have been three years out of date!
Most importantly, though, is that I originally had only imagined a single name on the cover of this grimoire: E.A. Koetting.
Even as I daydreamed about this, something felt *off* about it. When the idea started to form into an actual project, though, it was clear that there is a work at hand that is more important than my ego.
If Azazel, or any of the Gatekeepers, were actually making contact with the human race and with Black Magicians, and if they indeed were doing so to stimulate our evolution, they certainly would have contacted other Black Magicians too -- not only me.
Timothy and I put out an invitation to the most powerful Black Magicians we could find, and their responses were overwhelming.
Yes, in fact, they too have been receiving messages from these mysterious spirits as well, and yes, in fact, their messages not only resembled mine, but in some cases were identical or even surpassed mine!

As I now read through my personal leatherbound copy of Azazel: Steal Fire from the Gods, I can’t help but feel humbled down to my soul.
First, I am humbled by Azazel and his patron guidance.
I am humbled that he and his Infernal Allies share their knowledge and power with our species.
And I am humbled to see myself, and all human beings, through Azazel’s eye’s -- not as barely evolved pack-hunting apes, but as omni-dimensional beings ready to embrace the wild ride of our evolutionary unfolding!
I am also humbled by the contributions that all the contributors to the Compendium of Azazel submitted, and I am humbled by those Black Magicians themselves.
I have known many of these powerful souls for years; I’ve been a fan of their works, and I’ve been published alongside many of them throughout my career, for example, Asenath Mason, S. Connolly, and Edgar Kerval.
Most of all, though: I trust their magick. At the end of the day, that is what I care most about. There are countless people who like to call themselves “black magicians.” There is only a handful of people who have truly *presenced* the darkness.
Every single innovative author who is published in the Compendium of Azazel has indeed *presenced* the darkness. Each and every one has met Azazel, has communed with him, and has been taken into the blackness of his mercy.
I would like to publicly thank and recognize these black magicians now.

I cannot say whether he means that warning figuratively or literally, but I interpret it to mean that masses of "sleeping" people will find themselves left behind -- if not far worse.
