Hey Friend,

The real problem with demonology is that while human hierarchical structures may work well for organizing people into religious, political, and military fodder, they do nothing other than sow confusion when placed upon the ranks of Demonic Forces.

The grimoires, spirit encyclopedias and ceremonial magick manuals had led me to the ‘understanding’ that the same chain of command or pecking order that world governments have foisted upon their citizens for centuries would also apply to demonic legions.

Specifically, I thought that, if an entity like Paimon is listed as serving under another entity, like Lucifer, that must mean that Paimon is less powerful, less ancient, or just all-around less impressive than Lucifer.

While this debate may very well come down to personal opinion, the truth is that there simply can be no comparison between the two, nor can any value-assessment be conducted to determine which is better, because we are only beholding a silver of the reality of who and what these entities are.

The picture becomes nearly impossible to make sense of when ceremonialists and magickal religionists churn out lies to make the Infernal Empire appear to abide by the whims of the church, or the state, or even worse, to make the whole demonic race fit into the narrow box of human conscious understanding.

An astral being counted among the familiars or legions of another can and often is more powerful, more clever, or generally more impressive.

I found this out firsthand, when I met the Demon-Priest Ant’harratu, Azazel’s most trusted Nether Lord.

Allow Me To Introduce Ant’harratu, Nether Lord & Commander Of Azazel’s Legions

Allow me to introduce you to a demon so powerful and knowledgeable that he actually creeps me out: Ant’harratu, Nether Lord and commander of Azazel’s legions.

Ant’harratu materializes first as a vapor or a thin smoke filling the northwestern part of the Temple. After spiraling about for several moments as if surveying the Temple for danger or trickery, his form materializes as a figure cloaked and hooded in black. Often, the Gateway of Pacts is emblazoned on the chest of his robe, or on the part of his hood covering his forehead, not embroidered into the astral material, but burning like a psychic brand.

Ant’harratu is possibly the most powerful of all the Nethers. He is a maker of miracles. He claims to have taught sorcery to the priests of Babylon, Egypt, and Olmec.

It was by Ant’harratu’s invisible hand that many of the miraculous alterations in my own life and circumstances were brought about.

—The Book of Azazel, E.A. Koetting

Along with the pact that I made with Azazel during my first round of pathworking rites with the Gatekeepers, Azazel introduced me to his most trusted Nether Lord, Ant’harratu, who personally trained me in demonic magick. For a while, Ant’harratu had become my constant companion, teaching me in almost every waking moment, while traveling, working, cooking, and just about every other daily task.

At the start of the day, I’d point myself in the direction that I needed to go for the day, I’d put myself on auto-pilot to complete my chores, do my job, and make it through another day, and then I’d turn the majority of my attention to Ant’harratu, who delivered Azazel’s magickal teachings to me.

Azazel Insisted That I Study Ant’harratu’s
Teachings Once Again!

A few months ago, when I had finished my pathworking with Amaymon, I performed a simple ritual of self-dedication to Azazel.

Azazel did arrive, and when he did he spoke a single message before vanishing: “Call forth Ant’harratu for he speaks for me, and he will tell you the rites that you must do. When they are done, I surely will come to you.”

Azazel essentially was insisting that I learn these rituals from Ant’harratu before he would even give me the time of day!

After a good deal of grumbling to myself, I evoked Ant’harratu. There was no question that he had arrived, the atmosphere thickening inside the Circle, and the spectral form of a somber, robed demon-priest appeared, walking widdershins around me as he spoke.

The 3 rituals that he revealed are essential to Ascent, and serve as keys that unlock the Black Adept within.

#1. Rite of Transfiguration

The Rite of Transfiguration is a ritual aimed at manifesting specific alterations of the self, physical or otherwise. This could be described as self-directed personal alchemy, or as total and permanent shapeshifting.

#2. Rite of Domination

The Rite of Domination is used to control the thoughts, attitudes, and impulses of any person, even one who is actively in opposition to you and your plans!

#3. Rite of Withdrawal

The Rite of Withdrawal provides a magickal recharge that is second to none! This will not only give you massive energy to use in ritual, but you’ll find that your magickal development can grow leaps and bounds while you take a much needed break away from constantly pushing yourself harder than you should be able to go.

Ant’harratu explained these rites in a way that only he can, reducing them to their most fundamental mechanisms and demonstrating how to expertly use each one.

His teachings were so useful that I actually put Azazel’s pathworking on hold a little longer, and I evoked him several times to learn truly hidden secrets of mastering non-attachment, and he even taught me a strange ritual of ‘Birthing A Nether Orb.’

Not only have I compiled all of my notes and have detailed all of my experiences with Ant’harratu as well as Azazel in my forthcoming “Grimoire of Azazel,” but I also filmed the whole thing, and I can’t wait to release my Azazel Pathworking Video Course at the turn of the new year in less than a month from now!
