If you’ve been practicing magick and have been involved in the occult culture and study for more than a few years, you have had to have noticed what I’ve noticed: That literally millions of people are waking up to the magickal reality that’s not just around us, but that we can grab and use to shape and mold reality!
As more and more people are drawn to the powerhouse of Black Magick, many of them are asking the same question: “Where do I start?”
If you’ve just barely come into magick, this might be your biggest question.

One of the greatest strengths of Black Magick and the Left Hand Path is that there isn’t a “wrong” or “right” way of doing things.
There are methods that work better than others, for sure, and there are rituals and practices that resonate with some people more than others. These are all details that are to be worked out in your development of your own magickal system, which is really what every Sorcerer is doing!
In contrast, if you join a Magickal Temple or Lodge or Order, it is necessary to do things their way rather than your own. This can be comforting for people who want or need someone else to tell them what to do, but it is hardly the path of power that the Black Magician hungers for.

Instead, my endeavor has been and will continue to be making all of these magickal teachings and tools available to you to use when you want, how you want!

Start Seeing Your Life As One Big Magickal Experiment |

But, the question still remains: “What should I do first with magick?”
To answer that, it is important to remember that Black Magick is first and foremost practical. It is a tool that allows us to interface directly with reality and to change it as we see fit.
Take a look at your life. Your life, this world, this physical/mental/astral reality that we’re currently locked in, is our experimental grounds. This reality is where we come to try things out, to test and develop our godlike powers.
Start to see your life as one big experiment. What would you like to change about it? What could be better? What do you want more of… or less of, in your life?
You’re essentially compiling an inventory of your life, and then you can start to use magick to experiment with it, to push circumstances in the direction that you want them to go, taking full control of your experience through Sorcery!
Now, as far as the question of what rituals to use, that is up to you, determined by what ritual forms fascinate you, or what practices you feel pulled to. I personally summarize sorcery into three essential magicks or 'Godlike Powers' as I call them.

Power 1: Mastering Divination: Omniscience
I have long considered divination the simplest entry point into magick. It allows you connect with a spirit in a light possession and receive their visions and voices with your astral faculties. To a certain extent, this strengthens you to perform full evocation with spirits. Moreover, divination provides you secret knowledge of people in your life and even future or past or present events that you could not know without it. This immediate access to knowledge is called Omniscience.
Power 2: Mastering Evocation: Omipotence
For those who seek true power, you need to learn how to evoke spirits to clear manifestation. Evocation is without a doubt the most life-changing form of magick, and once you’ve mastered the art of summoning spirits, you’ll have an army of spirits working for you and with you in your experiment of existence as a Living God!
Plus, I would listen to a spirit over a priest any day...
Power 3: Mastering Soul Travel: Omnnipresence
The biggest evolution for a muggle occurs when they finally recognize that multiple dimensions or worlds exist, not just this physical plane. Soul travel or astral travel allows you to literally experience in person and travel across these magick realms.
Once you have your first out of body experience, you can never go back to being a muggle. The first astral travel where you leave your physical body and pilot your astral body will forever dispel your belief in traditional materialism.
