Victoria, Australia The first Pinot Noir in the Hanpicked Wines Regional Selections range from the Mornington Peninsula. A great wine with attractive floral notes, fresh berry fruit flavours, soft tannins, fresh acidity and aromatic lift. Parcels from different blocks were vinified separately. The fruit was handpicked and sorted by hand then cold soaked before vinification in open fermenters with twice-daily hand plunging. The wine was matured for 10 months in French oak barriques from a selection of Burgundian coopers.
