Cheers to 2018 and leaving 2017 behind!!! To kick off the Year of the Dog, Classico will enjoy a unique Spanish Verdejo Rueda and a delicious meaty Southern French Grenache. Riserva will enjoy a delectably elegant and biodynamic Beaujolais Village Chardonnay along with a top ranked Pinot Noir from France’s Bourgogne region.

Fun fact: Active compounds in red wine, including polyphenols, resveratrol and quercetin, have proved to have cardioprotective properties. Cheers!

Garciarevalo Tres Olmos Verdejo 2015
Rueda, Spain

In the heart of Rueda is the family-owned winery of Garciarevalo. These Matapozuelos natives specialize in Verdejo farmed in their ancient vineyards, but they also farm a little Viura on the side. The fruit that goes into Garciarevalo's Tres Olmos is sourced from the estate's oldest Verdejo vines. These vines range from 100 to 140 years old and are growing on original rootstocks in sandy soils.
Smells fresh and exotic, with notes of lime leaf and lime blossom. It's an inviting wine, mid-weight, with a great balance of minerality, earthiness, citrusy fruit, and a touch of brine. *Organic

2014 Jean-Louis Tribouley “Orchis” Vielle Vignes Grenache
Roussillon, France

One of France’s top ranked Biodynamic growers provides this months Classico club w/a beautiful Grenache. Jean-Louis believes growing the grapes in a “bio-agricultural” method, sans weed killers and pesticides, for the best quality product-and he has succeeded. This lovely Grenache blend (75% Grenache, 25% Carignan) is the perfect warm wine for a chilly day. There is a host of dark fruit flavors that intermingle with cinnamon, a touch of licorice and a slight peppery finish.  Pairs perfectly with a variety of meals, from braised beef to your favorite mushroom pasta.

Isabelle et Bruno Perraud Beaujolais Villages Blanc Chardonnay 2016
Vauxrenard, France

The estate situated in Vauxrenard, Beaujolais was founded in 1987.  Since then, it has grown from 1.5 hectare to 8.5 hectares. The wines are vinified and bottled without the addition of sulfur or additives and are neither filtered or fined.
In 1999, Bruno became terribly ill due to the use of insecticide and began the move towards cleaner and organic farming methods.  By 2018, the winery hopes to have all of its 8.5 hectares converted to biodynamic wine.
Nose: golden apple, peach, rolled oats Palate: full bodied, creamy, roasted golden apple. *Organic

Michel Gay & Fils Chorey-Les-Beaune Pinot Noir 2013
Burgundy, France

Sébastien Gay, a 5th generation vigneron, took over his family's small 6.5 hectare domaine in Chorey-les-Beaune as a young man in his mid-twenties nearly 10 years ago. The ensuing decade has seen Sébastien grow and mature as a winemaker and as a result, his wines have steadily improved each successive year. The recent vintages are the most exciting wines produced here yet and the future looks bright for this young talent. There are holdings in Chorey-les- Beaune, Savigny-les-Beaune, Beaune, Aloxe-Corton, as well as a tiny parcel in Corton-Renardes.
Light-footed, evoking berry, spice, earth and stone flavors. Taut and focused, succulent mid palate, with lingering stone elements. Drink now through 2023.
