Mid-Month Check in from Barany School of Fiction!

October 16, 2018

Hi Friend,

Hello! How are you? How are you doing with your writing? Every little bit counts!

Ezra and I write during lunch breaks and for longer sessions over the weekend, and have full-time jobs too.

It's amazing what progress you can make by plugging away a little bit at a time.

Persistence is the key. Inch-by-inch. Word-by-word. That's what I tell myself when my other activities call me away from writing.

Our Check-In
During our Plan Your Novel course this October, Ezra has been planning book 5 in his Torah Codes series. He's also getting the marketing ready for the Men of Mystery event in November (Long Beach, CA).

As my passion project in September I finished a TV script based on my Henrietta The Dragon Slayer series I'd started last year. So fun!

This month I've started on another round of edits to my science fiction mystery series, due out next August: the Janey McCallister Space Station mysteries (working series name). What do you think?!

That's our check in!

What's yours? Hit reply and let me know!

I'd love to hear what you did. Every little bit counts.

Welcome to our Mid-Month Monthly Check in from Barany School of Fiction, where we help you write, edit, and publish your stories to the delight of your readers. And have some serious fun doing it!

I hope you’re well and writing or editing, promoting or daydreaming your next books. Or all of the above!

Or perhaps you're resting and feeding your creative well. Yes!

It’s all part of the creative process.

Your Mid-Month Check In

How is your writing going?

Even if it's not, and you'd like it to be, hit reply and let me know.

And if it going well, hit reply and let me know that too.

Or you can post in our online community at Fellowship of the Pen *secret* Facebook group here. This community is an added benefit of being a part of Barany School of Fiction.

We'd love to support you in community there. Ask questions, share a win, help others. We often learn by helping others :)

ATTENTION:
If you’d like to join the Fellowship and haven’t already, there’s a 3-step process because this is “secret” group. (Hoops to jump through per Facebook.)

The group is “secret” so that you can feel safe sharing story ideas and your writer’s life without anyone outside the group seeing your posts or even seeing that you’re in the group.

First, email me to say you want to join the group, Fellowship of the Pen. Just hit reply :) That way I know to respond to the next steps more quickly.

Second, friend me on Facebook here
https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=799399464. I'll say "yes."

Third, I will invite you into the group, Fellowship of the Pen
https://www.facebook.com/groups/FellowshipofthePenforGenreNovelists/. And then you're in! I'll also post a welcome. I do that about once a week.

(You won’t be able to see the group until you’re a member.)

Thanks!

Let me know your thoughts or post in the Facebook group here. (You need to be a member to post in the group.)

Happy Writing!

Best,
Beth
