This Week!
What Makes Your Favorite Book Work
[Group Call #1]
🎉

 ☕️💗
Hi Friend,

Happy March!

We look forward to reconnecting with you this week for Call #1, the first group call of the month.

Thursday, March 3, 2021 at 5:30pm PT / 6:30pm MT / 7:30pm CT / 8:30pm ET

Calls last up to 90 minutes.

Please RSVP. Thanks!

** This week: SPECIAL -- We're not doing feedback for this call. Instead... see below...

Our Focus:
What Makes That Book Work?

In this call, we'll analyze together one of your favorite authors to discover what works.

We'll look together at:
  • opening hook
  • ingredients of the first few sentences
  • word choice
  • voice
  • tone
  • point of view
  • and more!
What conclusions can we draw from that?

For this time, we have Trent and Diana on deck.

For next time, Thursday, March 17th, two more people will volunteer to send in ahead of time the first 100-200 words of your favorite author's novel -- in the genre you're working in or close to it -- so we can analyze together what you love about them.

And together we'll also:

-- do our Metaphor Check-ins & Good News

-- share next steps and announcements
REMINDER: For March and April 2022, we'll talk about what works in your favorite novel, starting with analyzing the first 100 words. Everybody will have a turn. Be thinking about what book you'd like to choose and what you like about it. We'll talk more about this Thursday. :)

Bring your questions, shares, and celebrations to the call.

We'll also have a good time connecting!

Thanks!
