TODAY! 📚☺️ Your Book's Metadata + Line Edits
[Oct 2022 Group Call #1] 🎉

 ☕️💗
Hi Friend,

We look forward to reconnecting with you TODAY for Call #1, the first group call of the month.

Thursday, October 6, 2022 at 5:30pm PT / 6:30pm MT / 7:30pm CT / 8:30pm ET

Calls last up to 90 minutes.

Please RSVP. Thanks! :)

** For This Call**

In this group call, we'll take questions and review as needed the parts of metadata we've covered in previous calls
  • book title and subtitle
  • author name
  • series name
  • pricing (print and digital)
  • ISBNs
  • Your book's short, medium, and long book descriptions
This call, we'll start into all the parts of the Author Bio, starting with the first sentence:

the Author Branding Statement.

We'll also brainstorm the other key elements of your Author Bio

  • Download the metadata template here

As a reminder, use this Author Branding Statement here:

  • There's a worksheet you can download. Let me know if you need me to send that worksheet to you. (Shannon? Nicole?)

(Also in the school here: https://school.bethbarany.com/p/how-to-write-your-author-branding-statement/ -- You need to be logged in to access this lesson.)

Going forward, probably for the rest of the year, we'll focus on a small section of the metadata in each call and take your questions.

**PLUS: For the rest of the year, we'll do line edits for one person.
  • Nicole (thanks for your words!)
**PLUS: I'd like to do some exercises with you! Surprise! It'll be useful AND fun.

Upcoming schedule:
(Send in 250 words ahead of the call in Word.)

10/20 -- Ezra

-- To be scheduled: Beth

Going forward, we'll focus on one person per call for line edits, so that each person gets about 20-30 minutes, as needed.

And together we'll also:

-- do our Metaphor Check-ins & Good News

-- share next steps and announcements

Bring your questions, shares, and celebrations to the call.

We'll also have a good time connecting!

Thanks!
