Happy Mother's Day to all of the mothers out there, the caregivers, the foster parents, the fathers who wear both hats. 

  Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.  Proverbs 31:28. 

This Mother's Day will be semi-low key for me. Since a lot of restaurants are only able to open on a limited basis, Mitchell and I decided to host Mother's Day at our house for his mother, his sisters and their families. (Of course, my daughter will be here, too :)  

Mitchell has been itching to make the creamy Cajun pasta dish (again) from Alien Allure, the last Garden Girl's book. (If you're ever looking for an easy and delicious Alfredo sauce recipe, you really have to try it!)
