If you're in South East Queensland at the moment, you'll probably know that there is an important event happening this weekend. Yes, the Ekka is happening - and that's awesome for rides and strawberry treats. But that's not what I'm talking about.

If you're a coin or stamp collector, then there is only one show you'll care about this week - the Queensland Stamp & Coin Show and it will be MASSIVE.

Make sure to visit me at the 'Australia Coins Publishing' table (number 14) to grab any coin storage items. If you want me to bring any specific storage items to the show (so you can save on postage) please let me know!

Here are the details of the show:

Sleeman Sports Complex,
Chandler (South of Brisbane)

🕰️ WHEN:
- Day 1: Thursday 13 August (12pm - 6pm)
- Day 2: Friday 14 August (10am - 6pm)
- Day 3: Saturday 15 August (10am - 6pm)
- Day 4: Sunday 16 August (9am - 2pm)

ENTRY: $4 online or $5 at the door
(children under 16 free)

There are some special PNCs that are unique to this show:
1. Australia Post will be there selling their special PNCs - see their recent stamp bulletin for details.
2. The show organisers will be selling separate packs of PNCs and stamp sheetlets.

Sneaky tips:
1. Australia Post often bring their old stock to these events and sell them cheap. No promises, but I've been surprised by some of the bargains Aus Post have at these shows.
2. You can pre-buy tickets for the event online (slightly cheaper), and they get you into the room faster than buying them at the door.
3. Not all dealers will be there Thursday (including Australia Post), so if you're only going one day you may get more value from Friday-Sunday.
4. That said, it will probably be a lot quieter on Thursday.
