Ten years ago, coin collecting felt easier.

You could buy as many new coins as you wanted, and banks were not restricting noodling. Looking back, it was a bit of a golden era.

But since 2020, something interesting has happened.

There may be less people using cash BUT there are more people collecting coins. In fact, according to research commissioned by eBay, coins are now the most popular collectable in Australia.

That's awesome for our hobby, but it has also brought some big challenges.

I receive a LOT of requests from collectors for help - particularly about buying, storing, selling coins, and how to avoid getting ripped off. In trying to address all of these issues for everyone, I've organised everything I know about the coin collecting journey into one place.
