Subject: New Moon Insights ✨ Daily Astrological Forecast ✨ Neptune's Swan Song ✨

Dear Stargazers,

In between the New Moon in Libra and the Sun's ingress into Scorpio, transiting Neptune returns to Pisces for what will be its final swim with the Fish for 165 years.

And yes, it's going to make for an interesting week, so let's dive in!

DAILY ASTROLOGICAL FORECAST

OCTOBER 20 - 26, 2025
Dates/times are given in EDT

Monday, October 20

Although today's Mercury-Mars conjunction is known for promoting snap judgments, impulsive statements and quick decisions that could come back to haunt you at a later date, this one's impetuous influence is tempered because it occurs in the calculating sign of Scorpio.

And that's definitely a good thing, because as long as you embrace the Scorpion's deliberate nature, this influence will help you think on your feet if you need to strategize, negotiate, pitch an idea, gather resources, defend your position or speak with passion and authority.

Tuesday, October 21

Immediately after the Libra new moon occurs at 8:27 AM, the transiting Moon goes void, so it's best to focus on routine matters until after the Moon enters Scorpio (11:40 AM).

The afternoon hours could find you questioning whether a person or an offer is trustworthy. If so, this is the time to ask probing questions and pay careful attention to what is being said, as well what isn't.

This is also a favorable time to conduct market research, fact-check sources and tackle complex issues.

Wednesday, October 22

If you feel emotionally unsteady as the day begins, you're likely experiencing the effect of the energetic shift brought about by Neptune as it retrogrades back into Pisces (5:59 AM). If so, rest assured that you'll quickly regain your balance thanks to the unwavering influence of the transiting Scorpio Moon.

Much like a lone wolf, today's transiting Scorpio Moon keeps to itself, which means its energetic nature is unaffected by any other planetary influences.

On that note, whether it is a detailed project at work or a 10,000 piece puzzle at home, this is a good day for anything that requires focus, concentration and determination.

This influence also supports all types of transformational activities, which can range from the personal (cosmetic, therapeutic) to the professional (reorganization or merger).

Thursday, October 23

With the transiting Sun, Moon, Mercury and Mars all in Scorpio, this is an excellent day to meet with a tax specialist, as well as to examine your credit report, mortgage statements or student loan balance, and if anything is amiss, take steps to correct it. Likewise, you may want to review your retirement accounts, and if need be, rebalance the portfolio.

This is also a favorable day for estate planning, including but not limited to drafting a Will and/or executing medical directives.

Friday, October 24

After a very brief void (12:15 AM - 12:20 AM), the focused energy of the past few days is dispelled as the transiting Moon enters the carefree sign of Sagittarius, an influence that will help alleviate the tension from today's transiting square between the Sun in Scorpio and Pluto in Aquarius.

The most common way the Sun-Pluto square is likely to show up in your life is in the form of an ego-driven power struggle where winning is very important to all of the parties involved, and given the fixed nature of the signs involved, both parties are likely to dig in their heels.

Fortunately, you can count on the silver-tongued influence of the transiting Mercury-Jupiter trine to inspire a face-saving solution that will allow everyone involved to walk away with their heads held up high.

Saturday, October 25

Whether it's a personal aim or a professional ambition, the combined influence of the optimistic Sagittarius Moon and the productive transiting Mercury-Saturn trine makes this an excellent day to create a step-by-step plan for success.

Under this highly-organized influence, it will be easier to collect your thoughts, develop a coherent strategy, establish realistic time frames and identify potential strategic alliances and networking opportunities.

Sunday, October 26

Although yesterday's productive energy spills over into today, its influence is short-lived as the optimism of the transiting Sagittarius Moon is challenged by the fear-mongering duo of Saturn and Neptune in Pisces. (10:00 AM - 12:00 PM).

After a very brief void (12:42 PM - 12:54 PM), the transiting Moon enters Capricorn, which is known for its perseverance in the face of adversity.

On that note, if you focus on how to overcome your doubts and/or fears rather than give more energy to them, you can expect to arrive at a constructive solution that will result in a positive mindset that restores harmony to the rest of your day.

NEPTUNE'S SWAN SONG

On October 22, transiting Neptune retrogrades back into Pisces where it will remain until it takes its final curtain call before moving into Aries on January 27, 2026.

When it exits Pisces, Neptune will officially put a period at the end of a 165 year planetary cycle, and while it's natural to look ahead, it's important that we use this time to reconsider the influence this cycle has had in our lives over the course of the past 14 years.

In short, what fogs have you burned through that brought you unparalleled clarity? What do you see clearly now that you didn't in the past?

And on that note, was this new-found clarity a delight or a disappointment?

For example, did you experience some type of spiritual enlightenment or discover that your faith in someone or something was misplaced? And if the latter, were you able to surrender any feelings of guilt, shame or remorse that were attached to it?

If not, there is no time like the present to release them, because your efforts will not only benefit from the dissolving influence of Neptune in Pisces but from its healing power as well.

Finally, it's of the utmost importance to note that from now until January 27, Neptune will be sitting at 29° Pisces.

Known as the anaretic degree, the 29th degree marks the end of a sign, and while it is associated with completion, it is also considered a degree of fate and/or karma that brings a final test or lesson before it moves into the next sign.

Given that Neptune never budges from this critical degree during its final months, my feeling is that a final test or lesson on the collective level is more likely than not.

Like all things astrological, whether or not it will apply to you personally depends upon your personal horoscope, as well as what you have learned (or not learned) up until this point.

WELCOME TO SCORPIO SEASON
October 22, 2025 • 11:52 PM

As the transiting Sun embarks upon its 30-day journey through the sign of birth, death and regeneration, it reminds us that it's time for us to embark upon a journey of deep self-reflection that leaves no psychological stone unturned.

More precisely, it's time to examine our innermost feelings, desires and fears and determine which ones we need to retain, transform and most importantly, the ones we need to purge.

As the 8th sign of the zodiac, Scorpio is the master of the purge, and during this time we are being asked to purge with a purpose.

Like Scorpio's planetary ruler Pluto, which destroys before it rebuilds, we too must create a void to make room for better things to come.

And every year, we can count on the transiting Scorpio Sun to see that we do.

October 21, 2025 • 8:27 AM • 28°22' ♎︎

Just like every every Libra new moon, this one offers a new beginning for all types of relationships, as well as an opportunity to cultivate a new sense of balance in any area of your life.

While the Libra New Moon's square to Jupiter in Cancer suggests the potential for a substantial relationship opportunity, it comes with a warning against blind optimism because when the dust settles, you're likely to discover that it's not all that it was cracked up to be.

The foregoing applies to any opportunity that coincides with the Libra New Moon, and to be clear, this isn't to say that the relationship or opportunity is inherently bad, but rather some type of positive benefit has been exaggerated.

In this case, while the New Moon's square to Pluto can suggest a powerful attraction, it also indicates that not everyone's cards are the table, while its quincunxes to Saturn and Neptune suggest there may be hidden strings attached.

Summing it Up

This Libra New Moon carries the potential for a big opportunity that deserves your scrutiny.

To this end, even thought its influence is starting to wane, the perceptive influence of the transiting Mercury-Mars conjunction in Scorpio can help you cut through the noise and determine the facts.

If they're agreeable to you, you can go forward with confidence, and if not, you can walk away with no regrets.

Getting Personal

So which areas are being targeted for a new beginning by this new moon in your life? They're revealed by the house in your horoscope that's receiving the new moon.

If you don't know which house holds 28°22' of Libra in your horoscope, you can refer to the list below to find out where the new moon falls according to your rising sign (if you know it). If you don't know your rising sign, then refer to the list below according to your solar (sun-sign based) horoscope.

If your Sun sign is:

Aries, it falls in your 7th house, which points to the start of a new relationship. If you are currently involved in a happy union, this new moon may inspire a deeper commitment that takes it to the next level. On a different note, if you are involved in a lawsuit, this new moon may bring a settlement, and if you are in a client-driven business, it can help you attract a new client base.

Taurus, it falls in your 6th house, which means a new job opportunity could be coming your way, and if you need to hire someone for your home or office, this new moon will help you attract a qualified candidate. Since the 6th house also rules health, you may pursue a healthier lifestyle through diet, exercise and a better work/life balance. On another note, you may decide that it is time to welcome a furry friend into your life.

Gemini, it falls in your 5th house, which suggests a new chapter for your social life. If you're open to romance, this new moon could bring someone special your way. Since the 5th house is also about creativity, you may experience a creative spark, and if you don't want to be pregnant, be careful. Since this is also the house of pleasurable pursuits, you may discover a new activity or interest that adds more joy to your life.

Cancer, it falls in your 4th house, which suggests that there may be a change to your home. While this can hint at a new residence, it can also be a home improvement project, new furnishings or a fresh coat of paint. It may also bring news of an addition to your household or an invitation to a family fathering. If you are interested in exploring your family's lineage, you can count on this new moon to support your efforts.

Leo, it falls in your 3rd house which means a new beginning may originate from your own thoughts, such as an inspired idea for a product or a short story. Since this is a social house, you may be on the receiving end of more than a few invitations, including one for a short trip. If you've been waiting to make an announcement, this new moon is your green light, and if you want/need a new vehicle, it can help you find the best deal.

Virgo, , it falls in your 2nd house, which points to a fresh start for your finances. This could manifest as a raise, a new source of income (or an idea for one) or a new budget that enables you to save for something special. Of course, the 2nd house isn't just about money. It's also about personal values, which means this new moon can help you get your priorities straight, as well as recognize your own self-worth.

Libra, it falls in your 1st house, which suggests that a fresh outlook and a new approach are likely to be the springboard to your success. This is the moment to step up, step out and move forward in the direction of your dreams. Since this house is all about you, this new moon may inspire you to change your appearance, which may be as simple as revamping your wardrobe or as dramatic as cosmetic surgery.

Scorpio, it falls in your 12th house, which means that this is the time to look within and give new life to the treasures that are buried inside you. If you want to develop your intuitive gifts, literary abilities or artistic talents, you can trust this new moon to help you do so. It's important to pay attention to your inner voice now, because a new direction for your life may be revealed through your intuition, imagination or subconscious dreams.

Sagittarius, it falls in your 11th house, which points to new alliances with like-minded people that will help further your goals, and in some cases, inspire new ones. If building a following or a fan base is on your to-do list, you can count on this new moon to help you attract an audience. On a different note, you may decide to devote some of your time as a volunteer for a new cause that captures your heart.

Capricorn, it falls in your 10th house, which suggests that a new dawn may be breaking for your career. Whether you want to climb the corporate ladder, start your own business or be recognized as an expert in your field, look to this new moon to bring in the right connections. Since this house is also about your personal standing, it could usher in something (or someone) that ultimately leads to a change in your personal status.

Aquarius, it falls in your 9th house, which means that it’s time to attract opportunities that expand your horizons. Whether that means exploring a different culture, engaging in philosophical debates, embarking on a spiritual quest or immersing yourself in a course of study, this new moon signals a time to broaden your perspective through personal experiences that feed your mind and fuel your spirit.

Pisces, it falls in your 8th house, which suggests that you may experience a new sense of personal power, as well as an opportunity to reinvent yourself in some way. You may feel it’s time to seek out an intimate relationship, or you could decide to take an inner journey with the help of a therapist. On a different note, if you want to apply for a loan or a credit card, this new moon can help you attract the right lender.

Manifesting with the Libra New Moon

You can set any intention under any new moon but when it happens to be in Libra, it's especially favorable for:

Actions, intentions and affirmations to attract or enhance committed unions such as marriage, close friends and business partners; resolve legal matters and achieve equitable settlements; resolve issues with competitors or adversaries; attract skilled litigators, wedding planners, mediators, arbitrators, matchmakers, decorators and beauty consultants.

THAT'S A WRAP!
