It's been a long time since I was behind a microphone, and despite feeling a bit rusty, it felt good to be doing this again.
But here's the interesting part. After I finished recording the podcast about the North Node in Aquarius and the South Node in Leo, I realized that I launched Anchored in Astrology during the same nodal cycle.
I also realized that in between the two, when the North Node was in Leo and the South Node was in Aquarius, I launched Shortcut to the Soul, which focused on both astrology and mediumship.
I didn't plan it this way, but as cycles repeat, so do themes.
In astrology, Leo and Aquarius represent the axis of creativity, and in my chart, Aquarius rules my 10th house (career) and Leo rules my 4th house (home, family, inherited gifts and talents).
While the transiting North Node points to where we're being called to grow, the South Node points to something we need to release.
When I launched Anchored in Astrology, my career as an attorney had come to an end (yes, it was a Pluto transit). I grew as I stepped out of my comfort zone (4th house) and into a public arena (10th house), where I had to let go of taking every criticism and dislike personally.
Reflecting on it now, when the nodal cycle was reversed, the focus of my work shifted. Astrology took a bit of a back seat while I worked as a psychic-medium.
During that time, I grew into my inherited spiritual gifts, but to do so, I had to let go of being a recognized expert and work my way up in an entirely different field.
Now that the nodes are back where they were when I launched Anchored in Astrology, here I am launching another astrology podcast and shifting my focus back to astrology. This time, the North Node is asking me to grow more deeply into teaching astrology and training the next generation of astrologers.
So what will I need to release this time around? I'm looking forward to finding out!
And this, my friends, is why no matter how many years I've been practicing astrology, it never gets old for me.
