Like all full moons, this one is about bringing something to light, to fruition or to an end. It can also bring something to a crisis point that forces us to take action and/or make a decision. In terms of timing, full-moon related events frequently occur during the week leading up to it or within 5 days following it.
Since this month's full moon in Aries, it is saturated with the fearless, self-sufficient, assertive and self-oriented spirit of the Ram, and given that its only major aspect being an opposition to the cooperative and partner-oriented Libra Sun, the Moon's need for independence in relationships rings loud and clear.
On the collective level, this full moon is about finding a way to balance our need for self-reliance with our desire for collaboration.
However, the full moon's quincunx to Mars in Scorpio indicates that asserting our needs at this time isn't comfortable for us, and its quincunx to Venus in Virgo suggests that our discomfort stems from the anticipated reaction (judgment, criticism) of someone who is important to us.
Although it's almost a week away from being exact, the opposition from Venus in Virgo to Saturn in Pisces, as well as the square from Mercury in Scorpio to Pluto in Aquarius (exact on Tuesday), strongly suggest that our concerns are well-founded.
Fortunately, the trine from Uranus in Gemini (inspired thinking) to Pluto in Aquarius (evolving freedom) suggests that a solution is possible, but it will probably need to be implemented in stages rather than all at once.
On the national level (USA Sibley), this full moon speaks to a potentially violent confrontation between the people and the government.
In the USA's chart, the Aries (aggression) full moon falls in the country's 4th house, which indicates the spotlight will be on its people), land, national borders, mines, livestock and agriculture.
Sitting in the 4th house, it opposes the USA's natal Saturn (rules, regulations and government agencies that enforce the law) in the 10th house (President). It also squares the nation's Sun (President) in its 8th house (crime, mortality), which is the planetary ruler of its 9th house (foreign affairs, immigration, higher courts, legislation).
Given the foregoing, since this full moon is in the 4th house, a national matter is likely to come to a head that will coincide with heated protests and/or potentially violent confrontations between the public and government authorities. Given the involvement of the 8th and 9th houses, it is likely to involve rules, laws and/or actions related to crime, immigration and/or foreign affairs.
On a different note, as I write this we are in the midst of a government shutdown, which is reflected by the Full Moon's opposition to Saturn (limitation, scarcity), which rules the nation's 2nd house (the Treasury).
Since the Full Moon and Saturn both square the Sun, it is the focal point of tension. In the USA's chart, the Sun rules the 9th house (legislation), and in order to reopen the government, Congress needs to pass legislation that approves new funding.
Since full moons can bring matters to a crisis point that force decisions, it brings the possibility (but doesn't guarantee) that new funding may be approved by next weekend.
On the individual level, if there is an area in your life where you need to be more assertive, take a bold action or be more self-reliant, you can expect this full moon to bring it to your attention. Likewise, if you have been putting other people's needs and wants ahead of your own to your detriment, it will show you that as well.
So what else might this full moon illuminate, end or bring to fruition in your life?

Releasing with the Aries Full Moon
If you plan to do a full moon ritual for releasing something from your life, be sure to do it after the full moon has occurred a 11:48 PM EDT (remember to adjust for your time zone). If you do it before the full moon occurs, the moon will still be waxing (growing) and you will be trying to release something during a powerful time of attraction.
Personally, I like to wait a few days until I see the Moon start to disappear a bit.
Now, you can release anything under any full moon, but when it's in Aries, it is especially favorable for releasing:
Negative beliefs or fears related to your physical body, energy, passion, ambition, self-reliance, resourcefulness or leadership ability, as well as traits or tendencies to be impatient, impulsive, reckless, egotistical, selfish, hotheaded or a bully.
