Subject: Full Moon • New Podcast • Predictive Workshop • Weekly Forecast & More!

Dear Stargazers,

I've had a few requests recently for a predictive workshop that teaches astrology enthusiasts how to understand their horoscope wheel and planetary influences well enough to apply the new/full moons, current planetary positions and transits they hear and read to their personal charts so they can gain specific guidance rather than the usual one-size-fits all forecast.

This is something I can definitely deliver, and I can do so without complicated techniques or information overload. However, before I devote time and energy to it, I thought I would put it out here to gauge the level of interest.

If you might be interested in such a workshop, would you do me a favor? Before you even read the rest of this newsletter, please take a moment to reply to this email with the word "Yes."

Thank you in advance for your feedback!

And now, let's take a look at the cosmic energy in store for us this week.

THE WEEK AHEAD

Planetary Events

April 3: Mercury enters Taurus

April 6: Full Moon

April 7: Mercury enters the pre-retrograde shadow

Notable Influences

Monday, April 3: Mercury square Pluto. Although brief in duration, this is an intense energy that can promote conflict, manipulation and paranoia. If you encounter opposition to an idea or plan, you're likely to react strongly (or vice versa if you oppose someone else) because you perceive it as a threat to your power. With the transiting moon in Virgo, even a small criticism could trigger your defenses because trust is in short supply. A positive use of this energy would be to engage in research or work on projects that require concentration.

Tuesday, April 4: Void Moon. The overall energy of the day is pleasant, but the moon is void from 9:51 AM - 5:52 PM. Since a void moon isn't considered favorable for initiating new ventures or engaging in activities where you want or need a definite result, it's best to stick to routine manners and engage in activities that don't require a specific outcome.

Wednesday, April 5: Full Moon (see below)

Friday, April 7: Venus sextile Neptune. This is such a gentle influence that unless you're aware of it, you might not take any real notice of it. However, despite its mild energy, it can very supportive for creative and romantic activities.

Saturday, April 8: Mercury sextile Mars. Discussions and negotiations are likely to go well today because it with a little effort you will be able to get your points across clearly. As an added bonus, the ease of the aspect means that you'll be able to do so without being adversarial.

Where does your sign fall on the Karmic Scorekeeper's to-do list?

TRANSITING MERCURY IN TAURUS

Enters Taurus on April 3

Enters Pre-Retrograde shadow on April 7

Stations Retrograde April 21
Stations Direct on May 14

Enters Gemini on June 11

On April 3, Mercury enters Taurus, where his restless spirit and flippant attitude takes on a more stable, responsible and deliberate nature under the steady influence of the Bull.

While Mercury’s rulership of the airy, intellectual and scattered sign of Gemini puts him at odds with the earthy, logical and productive world that Taurus calls home, thanks to his rulership of Virgo he has no problem abiding by the rules of the second house.

What are those rules?

The second house presides over money and possessions, so while Mercury is here it's his job to undertake a full accounting of the Bull's tangible resources and assess the state of its financial health. Since this house rules values and standards as well, Mercury is also tasked with establishing priorities and courses of action based upon its conclusions.

During this time, many of us will feel inspired to follow Mercury's lead as we experience a heightened awareness about our income, spending habits and financial security.

On April 21, Mercury will station retrograde, at which time he be asked to reexamine his work and submit a comprehensive financial plan on May 14 that the Bull can implement before Mercury returns home to Gemini.

We will be wise to do the same.

FULL MOON at 16°07 LIBRA
April 6, 2023 • 12:34 AM EST

All full moons fall in between two new moons (one before, one after), but what makes this one different is that it falls in between two new moons in the same sign (Aries).

Why is that significant? Because while both Aries new moons speak to a bold new beginning, the one on March 21 was at 0° (the beginning point) and the April 20 new moon is at 29° (the completion point).

Since the April 20 new moon happens to be a solar eclipse, and it will be in a tight square with Pluto, which suggests a power struggle and/or something starts off with a bang (individually and globally).

And in between is the Libra full moon, which suggests that decisions and conclusions that arise at this time will have a strong influence on the direction of next month's new beginning.

With a spotlight on partnership, the Libra full moon will help bring to light imbalances and sources of friction that interfere with harmony in any of your relationships. Given that it opposes Jupiter, you should be mindful not to view the matter through a magnified lens.

If you can resolve your differences, restore equilibrium, and establish a healthy reciprocity in your relationships now, you will be less likely to encounter a power struggle at the time of the solar eclipse.

Getting Personal

The house in your horoscope that holds this full moon is where the action is in your chart, and something related to one (or more) of the life areas ruled by it may come to light, to fruition or to an end. If you don't know which house holds 16°07' Libra in your horoscope, you can read your rising sign if you know it or you can refer to the list below to find out where the full moon falls in your solar (sun-sign based) chart.

If your Sun sign is:

Aries, the full moon falls in your solar 7th house of lawsuits and one-to-one relationships.

Taurus, the full moon falls in your solar 6th house of work, health, service, pets.

Gemini, the full moon falls in your solar 5th house of romance, children, creativity.

Pisces, the full moon falls in your solar 8th house of intimacy, other people's money and support, jointly-held assets and transformation.

Releasing with the Libra Full Moon

You can release anything under any full moon, but when it's saturated in Libra energy, it's especially favorable for releasing:

Negative beliefs or attitudes about marriage, partnerships close friends and other committed relationships, as well as for releasing relationships that no longer fulfill you.

Traits and tendencies to be a people pleaser, co-dependent, shallow, vain, over-accommodating, self-indulgent, pretentious or unable to make a decision for fear of making the wrong one.

Lastly...

I've been blessed in many ways, not the least of which are my clients. And one of those blessings is Andrey, a fellow Capricorn, dedicated E.R. nurse, husband, father and avid astrology student who was referred to me for a reading many years ago.

Having just had a recent astrology discussion with him in February, I was shocked and heartbroken to learn of his unexpected passing a few days ago at just 38 years of age. It seems like yesterday that he was seeking my advice about the best time to pop the question to the woman he married 7 years ago on April 3.

This past fall Andrey relocated to Florida, where he has been the primary breadwinner for his wife and child. A fundraiser has been created on behalf of his widow and five-year old son. Should any of you feel inclined to make a small donation to help Ellyn and Yacob, your generosity would be appreciated by his family, as well as by me.

It was Clint Eastwood who said, "Tomorrow is promised to no one." That indisputable truth is why it's so important to make the most of each day and let those we care about know how much they are loved and appreciated.

While I'm not familiar with all of you personally, please know that I hold great affection and appreciation in my heart for every one of you.

Until next time,

May Jupiter's blessings be your constant companion,

Debra Anne Clement
