Subject: Astrology Forecast: Go Big or Go Home!

Dear Stargazers,

There's an energetic shift this week as Mercury and Mars bid farewell to the confident, passionate and fiery sign of Leo and immerse themselves in the focused, detail-oriented and practical sign of Virgo.

This week also sees Jupiter leaving Pisces and returning to Aquarius, where it will wrap up its visit through the sign of the Water Bearer. For those of you with the Ascendant, Sun, Moon or Venus (or any other planet) at 22°-29° Aquarius, you're in for a treat because at some point between July 28 and December 29, Jupiter (expansion) will conjunct it.

While a conjunction to any planet or point from Jupiter can be beneficial, conjunctions to the Ascendant, Sun, Moon and Venus can be very fortunate and commonly occur with success, romance, travel, creativity, pregnancy or other happy events.

PLANETARY FORECAST

July 26 - August 1

All dates are given in the Eastern Time Zone.

PLANETARY EVENTS

Jul. 27: Mercury enters Virgo

Jul. 28: Jupiter enters Aquarius

Jul. 29: Mars enters Virgo

BEST DAYS: While there are other days during this time frame that are fine, these are the best of the bunch. What do I mean by the best? The energy is flowing, the moon isn't void and there's a greater likelihood for happy and/or productive outcomes.

Jul. 27, 28

BEST AVOIDED: The energies on these days aren't favorable for new ventures or any activity where you want or need a definite result. If you must schedule something, you may have to think on your feet, or there may be a need for patience or flexibility.

NOTABLE ASPECTS

Jul. 29: Mars opposite Jupiter

When the planet of action challenges the planet of expansion, it's time to go big or go home. This high-octane influence inspires enthusiasm and confidence, which is why many of you will take a leap of faith today. While many will take concrete steps in the direction of their dream, some will go for the gold and take home the prize.

Aug. 01: Mercury conjunct the Sun | Mercury opposite Saturn

If used wisely, these competing Mercury transits can help you go further, especially if you're traveling, negotiating, speaking, teaching or studying. Mercury's conjunction to the Sun can help you make a good impression on others today, and given its opposition to Saturn, those "others" are likely to be authoritative types who may be in a position to help you. The only caveat is that when Mercury opposes Saturn it can trigger negative thinking, so if any self-defeating thoughts enter your mind, be ready to show them the door!

TRANSITING MERCURY IN VIRGO

After just three weeks in the Lion’s den, Mercury was feeling burned out from the intensity of Leo’s spotlight. Though it was fun while it lasted, it was time to check out of the sign of passionate pursuits and into the sign of health and wellness, otherwise known as Virgo.

As the planetary ruler of Virgo, Mercury feels at home in the Maiden’s immaculate 6th house of self-improvement. During this time, Mercury will express his earthy, practical side which means that his intellectual curiosity will be more focused and his nature will be more reliable.

In addition to health and wellness, the sixth house also presides over work, service, pets and daily routine, and while under the Maiden’s roof, Mercury’s attention will be focused on all of these areas.

TRANSITING JUPITER RETROGRADES BACK INTO AQUARIUS

July 28 - December 29

On July 29, Jupiter exits Pisces and retrogrades to the sign of the water bearer, where it will remain until December 29.

From the time Jupiter first stationed retrograde on June 20, it has been encouraging us to look within and reflect upon the beliefs that we hold to be true, especially those of a religious, spiritual, philosophical, philanthropical and ethical nature. Since Jupiter rules abundance, it's also time to reconsider we define success, growth and prosperity.

As Jupiter shifts back into Aquarius, there is an emphasis on convictions that are held on a collective level, which is why many of you find yourselves pondering your societal and politica

belief systems.

TRANSITING MARS IN VIRGO

July 29 - September 14

As the natural ruler of Aries, Mars is a fiery, ego-driven planet who is used to leadership roles, public recognition for his accomplishments and a quick getaway the moment he starts feeling bored.

Given his nature, you can imagine his reaction when he realized that as long as he was under the Maiden’s roof, he would never be more than a supporting player. >> Read more.
