ASTROLOGICAL FORECAST
September 21-27 (EST)

Void of Course Moon

These periods are not the best times to start something new or engage in activities that need a definite result.

September 21: 10:32 AM — 01:15 PM

September 23: 04:19 AM — 11:25 PM

September 26: 04:33 AM — 06:24 AM

Monday, September 21 • Mercury sextile Jupiter

Although the ambitious Capricorn Moon supports decisions and executive actions, once it goes void, it’s time to rein things in until the Moon enters Aquarius.

The transiting Aquarius Moon brings an innovative influence that can inspire you to try a different approach, while its fixed nature can help you stick to your guns if others don't agree with you.

On a different note, the supportive influence of today’s expressive Mercury-Jupiter sextile can be very helpful if you need to learn, teach, negotiate, get a point across, pitch an idea or discuss something important.

Tuesday, September 22 • Libra Equinox

The group-oriented influence of the transiting Aquarius Moon encourages camaraderie and teamwork, so if you need assistance with something, don’t hesitate to ask a colleague for help. However, the more independent side of Aquarius could also find you wanting a little more space than usual.

At 8:06 PM, the transiting Sun enters Libra, announcing the beginning of autumn in Northern Hemisphere. Read The Libra Equinox to learn more about the meaning of this seasonal event.

Wednesday, September 23 • Void Moon All Day

Given that the transiting Moon will be void for the entire day, it's best to focus your attention on routine matters, rather than tasks or assignments that require a definite outcome.

Once the workday ends, you may enjoy connecting with friends, exploring something that interests you or simply having the evening to yourself.

At 11:25 PM, the transiting Moon assumes a gentler energy as it enters Pisces.

Thursday, September 24

With the transiting Moon in Pisces all day, it’s best to go with the flow and take things as they come. If you work in a creative field or are artistically inclined, this influence can enhance your creativity and help inspire new ideas.

Since this influence is often associated with heightened sensitivity, do your best to avoid getting drawn into other people’s dramas, because their emotions and problems could feel more overwhelming than usual.

Friday, September 25 • Sun opposite Neptune

Today’s opposition between the Sun in Libra and Neptune in Aries can increase feelings of confusion and doubt, making it easier to see the glass as half empty. For this reason, it’s best to put off making important decisions until after this influence has passed.

Saturday, September 26 • Full Moon in Aries

At 6:24 AM, the transiting Moon enters Aries, where a few short hours later, it will become a Full Moon.

See my Full Moon forecast below for details about this lunation and what it means for you.

Sunday, September 27 • Mars enters Leo

You may still be feeling the effects of yesterday’s Full Moon and thinking about something that came to light or to an end. If so, the Aries Moon can inspire you to move forward, start over or take action on what comes next.

At 10:49 PM, transiting Mars enters Leo, where it will remain until November 27. However, this is just the first leg of its journey. Next year, its retrograde cycle will bring it back to Leo, where it will spend another three months in the sign of the Lion.

While Mars is in Leo, it’s motivated by passion, acts with confidence, and has an endless supply of willpower. It also seeks the spotlight, thrives on applause and reacts with angry indignation when others fail to appreciate its greatness.

During this time, you’re likely to approach some area of your life in true Mars-in-Leo fashion, and as long as you don't fall prey to its pride and ego, the odds are high that you'll achieve whatever you set out to do.

September 26, 2026 • 12:49 PM

As the self-reliant and self-oriented Aries Moon opposes the cooperative, partner-oriented Libra Sun, the focus is on how we balance our need for independence with our desire for partnership.

For example, do you tend to consider your own needs first, or do the needs of others usually come first? Either way, an event that occurs at this time could shed light on whether you're leaning too far in one direction and need to bring things back into balance.

Like all full moons, this one can bring something to light, to fruition or to an end, and with Neptune tightly conjunct the Moon, it could coincide with a dream-come-true, shatter an illusion or burst a bubble.

And while Neptune is the strongest influence, it's not the only one. Sandwiched in between Neptune and Saturn, this Full Moon is also influenced by Saturn, though to a lesser degree.

On the upside, the combination of Neptune and Saturn could coincide with an inspired dream or goal becoming a reality, with Neptune supplying the vision and Saturn laying the foundation to make it happen.

On the downside, there is a potentially depressing side to this combination that can make a setback seem far worse than its reality. Given this highly reactive Moon, you could easily find yourself in a tailspin. It also doesn't help matters that Mercury is square Mars, an influence associated with short tempers, impulsive reactions and jumping to conclusions, which could add fuel to the fire.

Should you experience a setback, the Moon's sextiles to Uranus and Pluto could bring opportunities that can help you bounce back, change course and put Aries' fighting spirit to good use, while the Sun’s trine to Pluto can help strengthen your resolve.

So where is this Full Moon likely to show up in your life?

For the most accurate forecast, look to the life areas ruled by the house in your horoscope that holds 3°37' Aries. If you don't know which house that is, then read your Rising sign, and if you don't know your Rising sign, then read your Sun sign.

As always, it's important to keep in mind that this full moon will affect you more (or less) depending upon the aspects (if any) it makes to your personal horoscope.

FULL MOON FORECAST

Aries, it falls in your 1st house of the Self, which suggests that you may make an important life decision that will have lasting consequences connected to your personal development. For example, you may decide to make a deeper commitment to a relationship or choose to end one. Alternatively, you may decide to make a major change in your living situation, finances or career. Since this house includes your body, this full moon could coincide with the conclusion of a physical matter, such as the completion of dental work or reaching your ideal weight.

Taurus, it falls in your 12th house of hidden information, which means that you may experience an intuitive download, gain access to confidential information or experience a psychological breakthrough. If you have been experiencing guilt or a tendency for addictive or self-sabotaging behavior, this full moon could shed light on what’s at the root of it so you can release it. Since this house is also a creative one, you may discover an artistic talent you didn’t know you have or alternatively, this could be the time an existing one blossoms.

Gemini, it falls in your 11th house of hopes and dreams, which suggests there is a strong possibility that something near and dear to your heart will come to fruition now. Since this house is also about humanitarian interests and group relationships, you could decide to get involved in a cause that is meaningful to you. If you have a pending application for membership in a group, you can expect a decision, and if you’re active on social media, this full moon could coincide with a milestone event such as going viral or reaching a certain number of followers.

Cancer, it falls in your 10th house of career and public reputation, which puts a spotlight on your professional and personal status and suggests that this full moon will coincide with news of a promotion, honor, award, retirement or, in extreme cases, a scandal or public dismissal. It could coincide with a change in your personal status, such as becoming a spouse, parent, grandparent or homeowner. Since the 10th house rules authority figures, a tense situation with a boss, parent or other authority figure could come to a head in a very public manner.

Leo, it falls in your 9th house of higher knowledge, which could bring a decision about your religion, college plans, political party or other type of philosophical or belief system. On a different note, this is the house of long journeys, so you could be returning from a far-off location or deciding on your next destination. Since legal ceremonies also fall in the 9th house, this full moon could coincide with tying the knot or participating in a swearing-in ceremony. Lastly, since grandchildren also live in the 9th house, if you have any, this full moon could put the spotlight on them.

Virgo, it falls in your 8th house of intimacy and trust, which suggests that an existing relationship could move to a much deeper level or, alternatively, come to an end. Since this is also the house of other people’s resources, if you are waiting on news related to a mortgage, loan, tax matter, inheritance, maintenance, child support, government benefits, bankruptcy or a legal settlement, it is likely to come at this time. On a different note, this full moon could reveal something about your shared resources, as well as shed light on someone else’s motives.

Libra, it falls in your 7th house of relationships, which means there could be a major development in an important personal or professional relationship, such as a deeper commitment or a parting of ways. Another possibility is that this full moon will illuminate boundary issues or other negative patterns in your relationships that need to be resolved to ensure future happiness. On a separate note, if you have been involved in an ongoing conflict, this full moon could bring a lawsuit or a settlement.

Scorpio, it falls in your 6th house of employment. If you’re waiting on a hiring decision, this full moon is likely to bring it. Alternatively, if a current job hasn’t been going well, you may decide it is time to look for a new one, and in extreme cases, your employer could make that choice for you. Since this house also rules health and daily routines, you may become aware of an issue at this time, which may involve nutrition and fitness levels. Lastly, since this house includes pets, if you have any, this full moon could put the focus on one.

Sagittarius, it falls in your 5th house, which suggests that if you have had your eye on a certain someone, this full moon could take you from just flirting to actively dating. Since this is the house of creative self-expression, you could receive recognition for a creative project or bring one to a conclusion. This house also rules children, so there could be news of a birth, and if you’re a parent, you may make a child-rearing decision at this time. As the house of joy, this full moon may reveal new ways to have fun, as well as whether you’re having too much or too little of it.

Capricorn, it falls in your 4th house of home and family, so if there has been tension in your household, it could come to a head. If so, the good news is that the air could be cleared, paving the way for a happy resolution. It’s also possible that a parent will need your attention at this time. This full moon could bring a redecorating, landscaping or home improvement project to its completion, as well as a decision connected to a rental application or home sale. On a separate note, some interesting facts about your genealogy may come to light at this time.

Aquarius, it falls in your 3rd house of communications, short trips, side-by-side relationships and your local area, which means this could be the time you conclude a negotiation, wrap up a writing project, return home from a short trip, or finalize plans with a sibling, cousin or neighbor. There could also be news about your local area, such as zoning changes or road work. Since this house also rules ground transportation, contracts and warranties, you could seal the deal for a new vehicle or, alternatively, a problem could come to light with a current one.

Pisces, it falls in your 2nd house of money, so if you are waiting to hear news about a raise in your pay and/or your expenses, it’s likely to come at this time. Finalizing a budget is another possibility, and if you have been paying off a past purchase, this may be the month you make your final payment. On a different note, since this house is also about personal values, this full moon could illuminate your priorities in life, as well as show you how you really feel about yourself.

Well, that's it for this week.

I'll be back next Sunday with more astrological insights and guidance!

Until next time,

Debra
