Monday, the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo all day; it will journey there until Wednesday morning, turning our focus toward the practical and wholesome.
We are generous with our time/services, and we love to help others. We also have a fondness for science and anything that makes sense in our world — things and knowledge we can apply and use.
Health might also come into focus at this time. We notice the parts that make up the whole; this is a great time to see if our daily routines (eating, work, self-care, etc.) align with our long-term goals.
Monday from 3:55am – 7:55am EDT, we may experience some internal discomfort and need to make some more inner adjustments.
We are encouraged to release our fears and embrace genuine emotional connections with society or a humanitarian cause dedicated to a more empowered future for everyone. At the same time, we feel the need to make important decisions about our daily health and work routines.
Where could we use more clarity? Where do we need to take a closer look in our lives? (Moon in Virgo quincunxes Pluto in Aquarius, exact at 5:55am EDT)
Monday at 11:41pm EDT, the first Quarter Moon in almost 13º of Virgo becomes exact. We started to feel this aspect build from the moment the Moon entered Virgo (on Sunday late evening).
The Moon in detail-oriented, helpful, and practical Virgo makes a challenging aspect to the Sun in chatty, fast-thinking, and busy Gemini.
We feel compelled to take action. Last week saw the New Moon on May 26th; “seeds” planted then are probably “sprouting” by now — and making first real contact with the outside world.
This is therefore a time to stretch and grow — and create some forward momentum.
We may feel anxious or unusually busy. As best as you can, go one breath at a time.
Allow for changes, remain flexible (as much as possible), and find creative solutions for your day-to-day dealings with others.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 10-15 degrees of Virgo, Gemini, Pisces, or Sagittarius? If so, you will feel the effects of this first Quarter Moon more strongly than otherwise. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).
