Steam returns to Penrith for one weekend only. It's all sold out, but you can still watch it.Don't miss this rare opportunity to experience the sights and sounds of steam as we travel from Penrith up the scenic Lower Blue Mountains and return, behind the legend of steam locomotive 3801.

CATCH A BUS TO THE ZIG ZAG RAILWAY

Free Coach Shuttle to Gain New Stop

Passengers will soon be able to access the Zig Zag Railway via the Katoomba–Bathurst coach shuttle, following successful advocacy by Ask Roz Blue Mountains. Initial discussions began in May through Trish Doyle MP, and approval has now been secured for the addition of new Zig Zag stops.

"From August, a new stop at the Zig Zag Railway will be introduced along the route of the free shuttle services, which will provide more options to get around for locals and tourists."
