HEADS UP ~ Rare 'blood moon' will be visible this Friday night.

9 News advise: Millions of Australians have the chance to witness a rare 'blood moon' this week, the first of its kind in almost three years.

The exciting astronomical event will see the moon bathed in red light for a few short but striking moments on the evening of Friday, March 14. Click here

OFFICIAL OPENING ~ Historic Katoomba Falls Kiosk officially reopens this weekend


Katoomba Falls Kiosk has reopened, and Council is inviting the community to the official opening on Saturday and Sunday, 15 and 16 March 2025.

It will feature live music and entertainment, food trucks and refreshments, games, giveaways and activities, a magic show, face painting, balloon twisting, colouring comp and party bags, art shows, a best Instagram pic competition, and a dog show event on Sunday.
