Dear Friend of America’s Survival:

Eco-terrorists are on the loose.

While we celebrated Thanksgiving, a group called “Deep Green Resistance” refered to Thanksgiving as a “day of mourning” for the indigenous people “and we reaffirm our solidarity with all indigenous people.” It has published an “Underground Action Calendar” which “exists to publicize and normalize the use of militant and underground tactics in the fight for justice and sustainability.” The calender features a map of pipelines in the U.S. and highlights violent actions against such targets around the world. Consider this:

The group has taken up the cause of Jessica Reznicek and Ruby Montoya, who “admitted to committing multiple acts of eco-sabotage against the Dakota Access Pipeline (DAPL).” It says their home has been raided by the FBI and materials have been confiscated in an ongoing investigation.

This is good news. These terrorist networks have to be investigated and dismantled.>/p>

But get this: those gals are Iowa-based Catholic Worker activists and their home was a Catholic Worker home in Des Moines. The Catholic Worker Movement is associated with Marxist Dorothy Day, now being promoted from within the church for Sainthood.

Author Carol Byrne confirmed that Day “supported the policies of hostile foreign powers operating from Moscow, Havana, Peking and Hanoi against her own country, the USA. She also wrote favorably about such socialist dictators as Lenin, Castro, Mao and Ho Chi Minh, even though they had all violently persecuted the Church in their respective countries. Nor could she in principle bring herself to condemn the social and economic ideals of Marxism.”

If you look on the FBI’s list of fugitive “domestic terrorists,” you will find people such as Josephine Sunshine Overaker.

She is an eco-terrorist associated with the Animal Liberation Front and the Earth Liberation Front. According to the FBI, “On January 19, 2006, a federal grand jury in Eugene, Oregon, indicted Josephine Sunshine Overaker on multiple charges related to her alleged role in a domestic terrorism cell. Overaker was charged with two conspiracy violations related to seventeen incidents, five counts of arson, one count of attempted arson, and one count of destruction of an energy facility.”

In other words, she has been a fugitive for over 11 years.

Meanwhile, Deep Green Resistance has filed the first-of-its-kind Rights of Nature suit in federal court. They claim:

Working with Denver-based attorney Jason Flores-Williams and CELDF's Thomas Linzey, the Colorado River is suing the State of Colorado for judicial recognition of itself as a “person,” with rights of its own to exist and flourish. The lawsuit, filed against the Governor of Colorado, seeks a recognition that the State of Colorado can be held liable for violating those rights held by the River.
