To ASI Supporters:

Will conservatives turn out to vote? They did in Brazil.

In Brazil, which suffered through 13 years of Marxist rule, the conservative, Jair Bolsonaro, won the presidential election with 54 percent of the vote. His opponent, Workers’ Party candidate Fernando Haddad, had written In Defense of Socialism.

How did he win? A liberal publication called the World Post (associated with the Washington Post) was critical of his victory but admitted that his winning coalition was based on the country’s culturally conservative people and their traditions. An anthropologist was quoted as saying, “Culturally, Brazil is deeply conservative… Christian values concerning family, gender and sexuality still remain deeply rooted in Brazilian culture.”

Order “Permanent Revolution” here

President Trump chose to fight this election in the U.S. on the basis of his economic policies and opposition to illegal immigration. Those are big issues. But he failed to mobilize people on the basis of safeguarding their conservative and cultural social values. We shall see today whether this strategy works or not.

Peter LaBarbara of Americans for Truth has issued a release noting that LGBTQ activists have mounted an unprecedented electoral effort on behalf of openly LGBTQ Democratic and pro-homosexual/trans-agenda candidates -- with the Human Rights Campaign, the largest LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer) lobby organization, alone spending $26 million targeting six battleground states: Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Arizona, and Nevada.

And yet, he says, "Republican candidates and conservative alternative media are mostly silent on the homosexual agenda…”

"While social media corporation's liberal censorship is a huge problem, conservatives' SELF-censorship is a bigger problem," LaBarbera said. "If Christians and conservatives are afraid to even discuss the homosexual agenda, how can we ever hope to defeat it?"

On top of this self-censorship, most conservatives have remained silent about how Fox News banned Chris Farrell of Judicial Watch for criticizing George Soros. In addition, Fox banned a Trump ad on illegal immigration.

Another factor in Brazil was the role Facebook’s WhatsApp played. It was used by conservative forces. As a result, the Soros-funded left now wants to restrict and even censor its use. Here, conservatives must develop alternatives to the “fake news” media and that includes (for the most part) Fox News.

One of those alternatives is America’s Survival TV on Roku. We tackle the issues ignored by Fox News.
