To ASI Supporters:

I believe that President Trump was tricked into nominating cover-up artist Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court. Consider that Trump during the campaign had said that the death of Clinton lawyer Vincent Foster in 1993 was “fishy,” and then turns around and nominates someone like Kavanaugh, who was part of the fishy cover-up of Foster’s murder. How could something like this happen? And what can we do about it?

Chris Ruddy and Donald Trump and Bill Clinton

Consider that Politico reporter Josh Gerstein is rummaging through some Brett Kavanaugh documents and reports this about Chris Ruddy, once perceived as a critic of the “suicide in the park” finding from Kavanaugh about the Vincent Foster death:

"The Starr investigation was controversial, and many today look at it with a 20/20 view," Ruddy said in an email Wednesday. "At the time I may have differed with the Starr probe, but I believe Ken Starr and Brett Kavanaugh did an honest job. Brett has had a long, respected and stellar career in government and on the bench. When evaluating anyone you have to look at the big picture."

The big picture is that Ruddy is now chief executive of Newsmax and contributed $1 million to the Clinton Foundation.

Ruddy writes: “…after Bill Clinton left the White House, I came to admire him and his post-presidential work. I was drawn to him largely for the very same reason he and his wife are being criticized today: the Clinton Foundation. Over time, I was impressed enough with its work that I even became a donor.” To the tune of $1 million!

The Clinton's friend and false critic Christopher Ruddy is also Donald Trump's advisor.

But get this: Ruddy is also a member of Trump’s Mar-a-Lago club in Florida and a friend of the president. Here’s what the Wall Street Journal reported back in 2015:

Newsmax, a conservative news organization, last year pledged $1 million to the Clinton Foundation over a five-year period, according to a spokesman for Chris Ruddy, the organization’s CEO. Mr. Ruddy has been friends with the Clintons since 2007. Through a spokesman, he said the donation wasn't tantamount to an endorsement of Mrs. Clinton’s potential campaign, though he thinks she would “make a great presidential candidate.”

Ruddy has been called the Trump whisperer.
