[ASI] "The Yoga Vote"

I was shopping in the trendy (Jeff Bezos, Amazon-owned) Whole Foods Market yesterday and noticed a series of publications dedicated to mindfulness.

At the same time, a far-left publication called The Intercept has run a fascinating article about “the yoga vote” emerging as part of the new progressive coalition. I have nothing against yoga as a form of exercise, but the article says Democratic Rep. Tim Ryan “has long been a champion of mindfulness, meditation, and similar pursuits, and has even created a ‘Quiet Time Caucus’ in the House of Representatives.” Ryan may run for president in 2020.

Think about it: what if you saw magazines in Whole Foods devoted to the reality of a transcendent God? Instead, we are getting bombarded with magazines devoted to how we can be “one” with nature and the changes around us.
Ryan is a good example of this. Once pro-life, he became pro-abortion.

Ryan says: I have come to believe that we must trust women and families — not politicians — to make the best decision for their lives.

This is fraudulent thinking, of course. The politicians on the Supreme Court legalized abortion, denying the right to life of the innocent unborn. The rule of law must intervene on the side of the right to life.

Actually, the Ryan “quiet” movement is a major part of our new book, Permanent Revolution, particularly Constance Cumbey’s chapter, “From Oprah to Obama and Beyond.” Constance is the foremost expert on the New Age Movement.

Now think about what this is all about. The Intercept reports:

James Gimian, the publisher of Mindful magazine who knows Ryan, said he isn’t sure whether Ryan will run for president, but that the yoga vote has gone mainstream in recent years.

These Eastern-style meditation practices are designed for one purpose – to accommodate one’s life to the constant change – the permanent revolution – in the culture, and numb us -- or dumb us down -- to the ability to reverse course. Rather than “mindfulness,” we need to actively work to reverse Obama’s legacy. We have to be clear and rational thinkers.

Our new book, Permanent Revolution: The Secret Life and Legacy of Barack Hussein Obama, expands the “Rainbow Conspiracy” movement beyond Islamists, Marxists, illegal immigrants, and leftists – to New Agers, transgenders, and stoners. Oprah Winfrey is their leader. Rep. Tim Ryan is attempting to ride this to the White House. He is the author of the 2012 book A Mindful Nation: How a Simple Practice Can Help Us Reduce Stress, Improve Performance, and Recapture the American Spirit.

This “Quiet Time Caucus” and “yoga vote” movement run counter to the traditional Judeo-Christian approach to God through personal prayer and forgiveness of sins. If you like yoga for exercise, that’s fine. My advice is don’t use it to come into contact with the spirit world.

I believe this is the purpose of “mindfulness” – to blind us to the reality of human suffering and justify flip-flops designed to appeal to the far-left.

By the way, we are close to going to press with our book on Judge Kavanaugh. He is being sold as a pro-lifer when his record is pro-abortion. Many have been fooled. Fox News won’t report the truth.  Watch our videos:
