To ASI Supporters:

You saw the news that Barack Hussein Obama has endorsed dozens of candidates in the 2018 elections. His growing influence is one reason why we wrote Permanent Revolution: The Secret Life and Legacy of Barack Hussein Obama.

Obama will never stop. He is committed to the “permanent revolution.” But Oprah Winfrey is the real power broker. She caused him to run for president. That’s why our new book on Obama’s secret life and legacy has a whole chapter devoted to the New Age Movement.

Marianne Williamson and Oprah Winfrey

Almost on cue, the British Guardian reports:

New Age author Marianne Williamson was in Iowa earlier this week meeting with Democratic activists to explore the possibility of a presidential campaign…

Don’t be “left behind” in your understanding of the powerful New Age forces in the United States. Order our book, Permanent Revolution: The Secret Life and Legacy of Barack Hussein Obama.

The New Age Movement is a growing group of people in America who have broken with the Judeo-Christian tradition to instead endorse the notion of God as a mystical force inhabiting humans, the earth, or spiritual “masters.” Oprah’s website describes it somewhat differently: “For 20 years, Marianne Williamson has been a pioneer on the front lines of a worldwide spiritual movement aimed at creating a global shift in collective consciousness.”

As I have written in the past, Williamson was an adviser to Bernie Sanders and wrote on her website about the need for “revolutionary power.” She says the Marxist presidency of Barack Obama wasn’t radical enough. A former nightclub singer, Williamson herself ran unsuccessfully for Congress in 2014 on a platform that included abortion rights, gay rights, socialized medicine, and the need to combat what she perceives as man-made global warming, nowadays called climate change.

The Guardian adds:

Williamson’s interest in a potential presidential bid is a sign of how broad the Democratic field in 2020 might be. Dozens of Democrats have been mooted as candidates and Williamson would have competition even for the “yoga vote”. Ohio congressman Tim Ryan has reportedly said that he is hoping to court that demographic if he mounts a bid. Ryan, a Rust Belt Democrat who mounted an unsuccessful challenge to Nancy Pelosi for minority leader, has long practiced and advocated for meditation.
