Dear Friend of America’s Survival:

With conflicts involving China, Russia, and North Korea getting more serious, we desperately need a purge of the old guard in the CIA. But in sacking Rex Tillerson as Secretary of State and replacing him with CIA Direcor Mike Pompeo, Trump has picked a career operative as the new CIA director. Don’t get fooled by the liberals attacking Gina Haspel over CIA use of “torture.”

She will be the first woman CIA director. It’s another major advance for “diversity.” My friends, President Trump is continuing the tired old politics of “identity politics” in the intelligence community. She is a career officer, one with “institutional knowledge” of the agency. She’s been there 30 years. In other words, she’s a member of the Swamp.

Here’s her official bio:

Gina Haspel / Deputy Director, Central Intelligence Agency

Gina Haspel was sworn in as the Deputy Director of the Central Intelligence Agency on February 7, 2017. In this position, she assists the D/CIA in managing intelligence collection, analysis, covert action, counterintelligence, and liaison relationships with foreign services.

Ms. Haspel is a career intelligence officer, having joined the CIA in 1985. She has extensive overseas experience and served as Chief of Station in several of her assignments. In Washington, she has held numerous senior leadership positions, including as Deputy Director of the National Clandestine Service, Deputy Director of the National Clandestine Service for Foreign Intelligence and Covert Action, and Chief of Staff for the Director of the National Clandestine Service.

Ms. Haspel is the recipient of numerous awards including the George H. W. Bush Award for excellence in counterterrorism; the Donovan Award; the Intelligence Medal of Merit; and the Presidential Rank Award, the most prestigious award in the federal civil service.

We know the CIA has made several “mistakes” over the years, including misjudging the “collapse” of the Soviet Union and failing to understand how North Korea was able to develop nuclear weapons in such a rapid manner. Another big failure was taking the “Sino-Soviet split” seriously, justyfing Henry Kissinger’s “opening” to China. This has enabled China to become an emerging communist superpower that is still working hand-in-glove with Russia.

Our book The Sword of Revolution examines this failure. For the first time, a former U.S. intelligence agency official explains in the book how the Sino-Soviet “split” deceived U.S. policymakers, including the CIA, and weakened the Free World. One of our current research topics is why the intelligence community got China wrong.

I’ve just posted an oldie but a goodie: Kissinger’s Record of Failure and Betrayal.

Rep. Devin Nunes, who has been investigating the fake “Russia-gate scandal” concocted by the Obama cabal, understands the dangers posed by Russia and how the intelligence community has gotten Russia wrong. “The failure to understand Putin's plans and intentions has been the largest intelligence failure since 9/11,” Nunes has said. He should have been put in charge of the CIA.

Was Gina Haspel one of those who got Russia and China wrong?

We had the truth in our 2014 book, Back from the Dead: The Return of the Evil Empire.

By the way, it looks like nothing much changed at the agency under Pompeo in regard to celebrating sexual perversity and special rights for various sexual minorities. The CIA website still features a statement from Obama CIA director John Brennan on the role played by the CIA’s Executive Diversity and Inclusion Council and the Center for Mission Diversity and Inclusion. Brennan’s “CIA Diversity and Inclusion Strategy” recognizes the need to hire “Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Individuals.”

It’s not clear how all of this sexual diversity helps America identify and defeat its foreign enemies.
