[ASI] The Alex Jones Case

To ASI Supporters:

The social media companies are making Alex Jones into a martyr. This is the guy who invited me on his show to engage in a one-on-one debate and then tried to squeeze me into a bizarre panel discussion with somebody who believes the Nazis have a UFO base under the ice. I said no thanks. They never called back.

Alex Jones is shown with books (written by yours truly, on the left) proving that Obama was groomed by a member of the Communist Party and was working for the Russians. Jones is also a Russian dupe. He was a regular guest on the RT Russian propaganda channel, and defended Moscow’s invasion of its former Soviet republic of Georgia in 2008.

Jones, who poses as a Trump supporter (but is not a conservative), should not be booted off social media platforms, unless it can be demonstrated that he favors violence or terrorism. They have not made that case against him.

I’ve been on the extremist lists of the Southern Poverty Law Center and the Council on American-Islamic Relations. I was (temporarily) banned from a college campus. I’ve also been censored by Matt Drudge.

Alex Jones can defend himself. He doesn’t need my help. I caution against jumping to the conclusion that the federal government needs to regulate companies like Facebook and so forth. I think these companies would welcome government regulation, in order to give them official approval for what they are doing. They can afford the costs of regulation. Regulation by the federal government would lead to officially-sanctioned censorship, a true violation of the First Amendment. However, a case can be made that these companies should be  broken up.
All that we can do is continue to use various means to report the truth. One of those mechanisms is our ASI TV channel on Roku. We are in more than 60 countries. Recently some of our viewers have said there have been technical problems with the quality of the channel. Here’s what you can do if that happens: disconnect and then reconnect the power and see if that fixes it. If not do the following.

1. Delete the ASI channel
2. Unplug the Roku from its power source
3. Power the Roku back up
4. Re-Install the ASI channel from the “streaming channels” section, under “news and weather” channels.

Our most recent show, on Roku and YouTube, is our interview with Larry Klayman about President Trump’s legal troubles.
