Dear Friend of America's Survival:

I received this apology letter from someone who had proclaimed Edward Snowden a hero and disputed my claim he was a traitor. He now says Snowden should have stayed in the U.S. rather than flee for enemy countries.

He said of Snowden: "he is not the person I had first assumed, and I wish I had never taken my original stance."

Indeed, many were fooled.

This person's letter went as follows:

Snowden ran away.  His actions would have earned him all sorts of protection in the U.S. where there would have been in no danger of hostile governments learning his secrets.

Gandhi defied British laws in India to expose unfairness and corruption, but as those were the laws at the time he fully accepted the punishment for his actions.

If I remember correctly, a British judge was even going to wave sentence one time, (Whether he sided with Gandhi, or was afraid of the repercussions I'm not sure.)  but Gandhi declined.  His reason was that we can't just go running around breaking laws we feel shouldn't apply, as that is exactly what every single criminal believes.

It's those who are willing pay the price for an unjust law who can claim the moral high ground.

If, after Snowden had exposed his information, he had turned himself over to the law, hopefully to someone he could trust, he would not be a traitor.

He could have at least disappeared into some backwoods jungle or something.  I've sailed around a good chunk of the world and it's really not that difficult to get lost if you really are serious about abandoning everything.

As is, whether he had intended to profit from this information or he's one of those morons who believes communism one of the fairest systems in the world, he is not the person I had first assumed, and I wish I had never taken my original stance.

How many more of you out there would like to rethink what you have been saying about the traitor?

We sent out a release about Senator Rand Paul:

Rand Paul is Clueless on Spy Scandal

The Senator has destroyed his presidential ambitions with his ludicrous comments about Snowden being a truth-teller.

As I put it:

"The Kentucky Senator's support for NSA traitor Edward Snowden likely spells doom for his 2016 presidential hopes," Kincaid said. "The American people will never forgive or forget his sympathy for this traitor."

It's too bad. I had high hopes for the Senator. He's finished.

Send me your thoughts at Kincaid@comcast.net
