Dear Friend of America’s Survival:

Our ASI TV interview with Bernardo Kuster of Brazil has been making news around the world. He provides lessons about how Marxism takes control in society and how it can be overcome. His approach has been to expose the role of the churches. Many of our positive comments are coming from Brazil, where one viewer said:

Perfect talk. I'm gonna buy your book, Mr. Cliff. I'm 34 years old, Brazilian and began to open my eyes about this in 2016. God bless people like both of you for this!

He’s referring to my book, The Sword of Revolution, which has been translated into Portuguese.

What has opened many people’s eyes is the financial corruption of the Marxist elites. There is a notorious corruption scandal known as Operation Car Wash. It’s the subject of a Netflix TV series called “The Mechanism.”

Here, Peter Schweizer’s new book, Secret Empires, is getting a lot of attention. One of the Obama scandals discussed in the book involves Obama’s longtime friend, Marty Nesbitt, chairman of the Obama Foundation. Schweizer discusses how the Obama Administration had attacked the practices of certain for-profit colleges. Former Deputy Education Secretary Tony Miller joined with Marty Nesbitt in a proposal to buy one of the for-profit education giants, the University of Phoenix, after its worth had been reduced substantially. It was a money-maker when the company rebounded.

Dilma Rousseff, Lula da Silva and Obama

In other words, they made big bucks as a result of Obama’s policies. Schweizer describes this as an example of Obama’s “smash and grab” strategy.

Is there a connection between the Car Wash scandal and Obama?

Former Marxist President Dilma Rousseff was impeached in August 2016. Her Marxist predecessor, Lula da Silva, was formally charged with corruption. Both were friends of Obama.

We know that money was channeled out of Brazil to the friends of Lula’s Marxist Workers Party.

Back in 2009 Lula was called by Newsweek “the most popular politician on earth.” That same year, Obama was reported to favor Lula as the next head of the World Bank. In 2015 Obama announced America would buy more oil from  Brazil’s Petrobas, a firm at the heart of the Car Wash scandal. Indeed, the Obama administration had officially launched an “energy partnership” with Brazil. “We want to work with you. We want to help with technology and support to develop these oil reserves safely, and when you’re ready to start selling, we want to be one of your best customers,” Obama had told a group of Brazilian business leaders in May 2011.

The U.S. Export-Import Bank had provided loans to the Brazilian oil company Petrobras to ensure the purchase of U.S. goods as the company explores for oil. The Odebrecht conglomerate, another firm involved in the scandal, was also subsidized by the Export-Import Bank.

Who said, “follow the money?”

Do you want to see ASI pursuing these scandals? We ask for your support.

By the way, Lula has promised to sue Netflix for broadcasting “The Mechanism.”
