Dear Friend of America’s Survival:

Next week I’m visiting the State University of New York New Paltz campus on October 20 for a debate that was previously cancelled. Here’s the link. Details:

How the Media Can Sway Votes and Win Elections

SUNY New Paltz welcomes Steve Rendall and Cliff Kincaid to campus for How the Media Can Sway Votes and Win Elections, a rescheduled media and politics debate originally slated for last spring. Please consider attending for a timely discussion, from opposing political viewpoints, ahead of Election Day. This event will be moderated and include opening statements by each speaker, rebuttal, and an opportunity for questions from the audience.

  • Steve Rendall is a FAIR associate and contributing writer. He was cohost and co-producer of CounterSpin, FAIR's national radio show, for 20 years (19942014.) His work has received awards from Project Censored, and has won the praise of noted journalists including Les Payne, Molly Ivins and Garry Wills.
  • Cliff Kincaid, a veteran journalist and media critic, runs the Center for Investigative Journalism at Accuracy in Media, the oldest media watchdog group in the U.S. He also serves as president of America’s Survival, Inc., a public policy group that has pioneered the use of the media streaming device called Roku and has an Internet-based television show that is now seen in more than 80 countries.
