[ASI] Obamacare is Collapsing

Dear Friend of America’s Survival:

The big news is the continuing downward spiral of Obamacare. It is designed to fail, to be replaced by full-blown socialized medicine of the “single payer” variety. You may have heard that Aetna plans to significantly scale back its participation in the ObamaCare exchanges. Simply put, the company is losing money.

The other big news was Donald J. Trump’s speech on radical Islam.

In his big speech, Trump once again failed to link Islamic terrorism to Russia. His only two mentions of Russia came when he said:

  • I also believe that we could find common ground with Russia in the fight against ISIS.
  • The Russians warned us about the Boston Bombers, here on political asylum, and the attackers were even twice interviewed by the FBI.

As I’ve written in the past, the claim that the Russians somehow “warned” the U.S. about Tamerlan Tsarnaev’s radical Islamic connections has been accepted by most news organizations and commentators as established fact. I noted:

It is reminiscent of when Lee Harvey Oswald, a pro-Castro Marxist who had traveled back and forth to Russia, assassinated President John F. Kennedy, and the Russian KGB promptly launched a disinformation campaign in the media blaming right-wingers in Dallas and the CIA for the murder. The Soviets—and the Cubans—were determined to obscure their links to the assassin.

The obvious question in the Boston case is: If the Russian intelligence agencies were suspicious of the brother’s terror ties, why did they not arrest and imprison him?

While U.S. intelligence agencies have a lot to explain, the Russian security services have been treated with kid gloves and even as the “good guys” in this affair. Our intelligence agencies are infiltrated by Russian agents. Trump is surrounded by Russian agents.

Hillary was for Russia before she was against Russia.

Trump doesn’t seem to understand how Hillary got burned because of her Russian reset. He wants another Russian reset.

Republican Rep. Adam Kinzinger says, “I think Donald Trump ought to really investigate this and where his chief adviser, what his association[s] with the Russians are.”

Regarding Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort’s name in a list of people receiving money from the previous pro-Russian government in Ukraine, the Congressman said on CNN, “Look, very well may be that within this corruption they forged Paul Manafort's names as a way to make these payouts. I'm not going to level that charge.”

However, he added, “…we do know that there was a push for some reason at the RNC [Republican National Convention] to take offensive weapons [for Ukraine] out of our platform. That wasn't anything anybody was talking about it. It just happened. That has been this affection in the campaign for Russia and Vladimir Putin.”

Kinzinger added, “In my thought, I have concerns for the chief adviser of Donald Trump, you know, having done work for a pro-Russian government in Ukraine, and, then, all of a sudden, there is this real affection for Russia in the campaign. It very much violates what I believe as a Republican, which is we have to be an example to people that live behind iron curtains and under oppressive regimes of how to live life better.”

The conservative Boston Herald says Manafort should go. It says, “If Trump wants to be taken seriously on foreign policy, he should start by indicating he understands the implications of Manafort’s dealings and fire the guy.”
