Dear Friend of America's Survival, Inc.:

I am very disappointed to report that "conservative" Senator Tom Coburn of Oklahoma is co-sponsoring a Senate resolution, S.RES.409, calling on members of the Parliament in Uganda to reject the proposed "Anti-Homosexuality Bill". This is a betrayal of the brave Christians of Uganda who are resisting the designs and schemes of the homosexual lobby. The resolution has been referred to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee for action.

Coburn, a medical doctor, is known as one of the Senate's most conservative members/. I can only assume that he has been misled about the true intentions of those in Uganda promoting this bill. Coburn is joining President Barack Obama, who has condemned it as "odious." What is truly "odious" is the Senate of the United States trying to tell Uganda what to do. What is truly "odious" is when the Senate tries to tell Uganda to kill legislation designed to protect their children and families from foreign homosexual groups funded by George Soros.

My new report notes that Ugandan Christian minister Martin Ssempa has issued a strong rebuttal to President Obama's criticism of his country for considering passage of a law to discourage and punish certain homosexual practices. "Sodomy is neither the change we want nor can believe in," says Ssempa, who runs the Family Policy and Human Rights Center in Uganda.

Ugandan Pastor Martin Ssempa Says Obama "Obsessed" with Promoting Homosexuality

Please contact Tom Coburn's (R-Okla.) chief of staff Michael Schwartz about this. Please email him at Michael_schwartz@coburn.senate.gov   Please say that Coburn should drop his sponsorship of the resolution condemning Uganda and issue a statement in support of Uganda's Christians. Coburn should be on the side of Uganda's Christians and their pastors, such as Martin Ssempa, and not on the side of Obama and George Soros.

Will you take this step on behalf of Uganda's beleaguered Christians? They are fighting for the freedom and values that we have taken for granted "“ and that we may have lost as a society forever. Please help. Please email Schwartz at Michael_schwartz@coburn.senate.gov   Uganda could lead the world out of the wilderness -- if the United States would just get out of the way!!
