Dear Friend of America's Survival, Inc.:

National health care legislation is only the beginning of the full-scale assault. There are plans for a massive expansion of government at the global level. We must be prepared.

Here is the text of a news release we are sending out through Accuracy in Media on my discovery of a secret plan by radical left non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to pass a global tax. You can also read my special report on this controversy and examine the 13-page memorandum from Max Lawson of Oxfam at Please forward this material to your friends and associates. This is "smoking gun" evidence that the intend to fleece our IRAs, Mutual Funds, and pension plans. Don't forget to go to for important background material.

Accuracy in Media's Kincaid Reveals
Secret Plan for $700 Billion Global Tax

WASHINGTON, December 15, 2009 — Citing a 13-page confidential document from a liberal foreign aid lobbying group, Accuracy in Media editor Cliff Kincaid is reporting that international non-governmental organizations (NGOs) are seeking passage of a $700-billion-a-year global tax.

Kincaid cites a memo from Max Lawson of the foreign aid lobbying group Oxfam which says this is the greatest opportunity in history to pass a global tax and that the financial proceeds from the U.S. and other "rich" nations can be funneled to the rest of the world in the name of fighting climate change and poverty. "The time is now," Lawson says. "There is potentially plenty of money here for all of our issues," he tells fellow activists.

In the memo, which is being distributed to NGOs here and abroad, Lawson goes on to outline a massive publicity campaign to bring this about. He says the campaign can already count on the support of liberal U.S. media organizations such as the New York Times.

Kincaid explains that the proposed tax is being marketed as "the Robin Hood tax" in order to convince people that it is somehow designed to take money away from rich people in order to help the poor. However, Kincaid says, "In reality, such a tax on global financial transactions would affect IRAs, Mutual Funds and pensions by taxing the exchange of financial transactions. It would hand over great sums of money to politicians in the name of bashing the big banks but ordinary Americans and their life savings would be hurt."

Kincaid's column explains how support for the tax, on a national and global basis, is coming from such figures as House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Rep. Peter DeFazio, and Senator Tom Harkin. But the campaign to get it passed on a global basis is depending on additional support from the G8 and G20 groups of nations scheduled to meet in Canada next June.
