Dear Friend of America’s Survival:

Fox News is throwing Andrew Napolitano under the bus, insisting it cannot verify his report that the Obama Administration used the British to spy on Trump. Fox News is scared and doesn’t want to verify the charges. After all, remember the News Corps phone-hacking scandal? News Corps was the parent company of Fox News. I think Fox is a little too sensitive on this issue. It should have stuck by Napolitano.

“Fox News cannot confirm Judge Napolitano’s commentary,” the anchor Shepard Smith said on-air. “Fox News knows of no evidence of any kind that the now-president of the United States was surveilled at any time, any way.”

Senators say there are "no indications" that Trump Tower was surveilled “by any element of the United States government.” Notice the reference to “any element” of the U.S. Government?

A new report from the AIM Center for Investigative Journalism examines the evidence for Napolitano’s claim that the British were involved. We have posted it here.

Here’s one of the key points:

The strange involvement of an “ex” British MI6 agent, Christopher Steele, in conducting “opposition research” during a U.S. election has raised no questions in the left-wing media. It bears consideration, as it could represent in reality a British “reciprocity” covert operation on behalf of Obama’s CIA, one to fabricate discrediting disinformation about Trump, not a mere intelligence-gathering or wiretapping operation.

A spokesperson for British Government Communications Headquarters (GCHQ) says:

"Recent allegations made by media commentator Judge Andrew Napolitano about GCHQ being asked to conduct 'wire tapping' against the then President Elect are nonsense. They are utterly ridiculous and should be ignored."

One of Napolitano’s sources is Larry Johnson, who worked with the CIA. He reports, “I reached out to friends in the intel community and asked them about the possibility that a back channel was used to get the Brits to collect on Trump associates. My sources said, ‘absolutely.’ I later confirmed this via a cut out with a person who is a Senior Intelligence Service executive in the CIA.”

But the New York Times has run a story making Johnson out to be unreliable. Johnson discusses that here. Johnson says, “The key point is that I have been told that there was a back channel used to pass info on electronic surveillance of Trump associates to senior officials in the Obama Administration. I stand by that and will be happy to take a polygraph.”

This failure by Fox News to stand by Napolitano and investigate the evidence for his claim is why we at America’s Survival, Inc. started our own show. Watch our show with Larry Klayman to understand the depth of the surveillance state.

I didn’t buy into these allegations when former CIA/NSA analyst Edward Snowden made them and fled to Russia. But Klayman is a principled conservative representing a real whistleblower, former NSA/CIA contractor Dennis Montgomery. According to Klayman, he says the intelligence agencies have been for years "harvesting" the confidential information of scores of prominent Americans, such as the chief justice of the Supreme Court, other justices, 156 judges, and prominent businessmen such as Donald Trump.
