[ASI] Is Marijuana the Answer to Ebola?

Dear Friend of America’s Survival:

The unprecedented Ebola outbreak has everybody scared. Five million people could die from the deadly disease. Now the first case is on U.S. soil.

Liberal Democrat Rep. Alan Grayson had warned Obama officials about Ebola breaking out in the U.S. In July he called on the Obama administration to impose a travel ban on three West African nations with Ebola outbreaks.

No travel ban was imposed. Obama kept the borders open.

Is marijuana the answer? Don’t laugh.

With wars and diseases breaking out, who with common sense would turn out in November to vote for Obama’s Democrats? Probably those depending on the liberals for access to marijuana. The Daily Caller says a marijuana ballot initiative in Florida is designed to increase Democratic turnout, helping Democrat Charlie Crist oust incumbent Republican Gov. Rick Scott.

As the Joel Gilbert film, “There’s No Place Like Utopia” shows, the game plan behind marijuana legalization has been to create another “progressive” constituency in need of something government can provide—in this case dope to “cure” problems like high arches.

We’ll talk about that and current issues tonight on our Roku show with Calvina Fay of the Drug Free America Foundation.

You don’t have to have Roku to watch. You can click here at 9:00 pm tonight Eastern time. Or click on the Roku symbol and “click here to watch” image on the right side of our homepage www.usasurvival.org  tonight at that time.

The July 29 release from Grayson’s office said:

WASHINGTON, D.C.) – In a letter to Department of State Secretary John Kerry and Department of Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson, Congressman Alan Grayson (FL-09) urged immediate action in response to the deadly Ebola epidemic currently spreading through West Africa.

Grayson, a member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, is requesting an immediate, 90-day moratorium on travelers coming to the United States from Guinea, Liberia, and Sierra Leone. He requested that such restrictions remain in place until 90 days have elapsed without a new reported Ebola case, and for the ban to be extended to “any other nation that reports originating a case of Ebola…”

The current Ebola epidemic is the worst in recorded history. Last week, the World Health Organization reported more than 1,200 suspected cases of Ebola, with 672 Ebola-linked deaths in West Africa.

Grayson also noted that an American citizen traveling to Lagos, Nigeria developed symptoms of Ebola while traveling to the country, and was admitted to a hospital in Nigeria where he passed away five days later. Grayson called this report “particularly troubling.” The Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos is the third busiest airport in Africa, and offers direct flights to the United States. “I urge you to consider the enhanced danger Ebola now presents to the American public,” Grayson wrote.

The director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Dr. Tom Frieden, danced around yesterday about the question of the Ebola victim’s nationality. The patient arrived in the U.S. from Liberia on September 20 and is believed to be a Liberian. Frieden wouldn’t even admit that.

Cover-ups at a time when people are dying. Are you as angry as I am?

The CDC says symptoms of Ebola include:

  • Fever (greater than 38.6°C or 101.5°F)
  • Severe headache
  • Muscle pain
  • Weakness
  • Diarrhea
  • Vomiting
  • Abdominal (stomach) pain
  • Unexplained hemorrhage (bleeding or bruising)

Meanwhile, don’t worry: the possession of less than 10 grams of marijuana is no longer a criminal offense in my home state of Maryland.

Perhaps people will smoke it when they come down with Ebola.

Remember: tonight on our Roku show – Obama’s campaign to keep the population doped up, while millions of Ebola cases and the bodies pile up.
